Okay then. Go ahead and e-mail your information to [email protected] . I'll look it over, but I'm certain that you're not going to convince me of anything.

You have to debate the issues intelligently and allow individuals to make their own decision. God wouldn't want it any other way, as he really determines the end result.

*Shrugs*. Sure ... no sweat off my back. It's not like I'm going to be joining Cavalcante, Farinata, and Pope Anastasius in the 6th circle of hell to be confined in burning coffins.

Although I'd rather see Sander than Deep Dish, you can't compare a club (indoors) to a party on Red Rocks. Add to that the ridiculous afterhours we will partake in and it should be a clear choice. Plus, other than Jamie and Myra, maybe, who would you rather hang with than Jason and I?

Not really. In this day and age that kind of a tactic will not work, and it's not the point of the Bible at all. So, dually, it's not the right approach.

well i'm not saying that its effective today, but if its not effective today then how can we look at the past and see the religion as legitimate? despite what the message of the bible is to you or anyone else...that doesn't change the fact that the early church used fear as a means to convert people to their religious structure...either fear of hell and damnation or fear of persecution for different beliefs, the reality is not something that can be denied.

Sorry for misinterpreting

And Erik - that's a good point. Red Rocks is somewhere that I've always wanted to go. I just have a feeling that I might scare FF in real life because I might be a bit out of hand

I disagree... in fact, I encourage more hijacking in this thread to get away from all the BS...

To continue with the Hijack...

Red Rocks is money, but if you want to see a sweet outdoor amphitheatre you should really either check out the Gorge in George, WA or Deer Creek in Noblesville, IN. Both great places to see shows, I actually like both more than Red Rocks...

Cheers,

Rob

you know i hate to break it to you buddy, but that's not the way philosophical or intellectual arguments are formed...not being able to prove something doesn't exist does not make it exist...its the other way around...

LOL wow such an original assumption. When did I ever say I was an atheist? Oh, right, I didn't.

Oh, and it's not at all hypocritical to accuse me of being unoriginal and then come out with the 'PROOVE[sic] god[sic] doesnt exist buddy..'

You know when a debate has become a little heated because the word 'buddy' starts getting thrown about willy nilly.

Listen buddy, we don't take kindly to people throwing around their "Willy Nillies" all... willy nilly...

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Jun-23-2005 21:25:

You can stop throwing around all those bold tags willy nilly while you're at it! I've been dieing to use the phrase 'willy nilly' in a post for quite some time now, I wasn't going to miss an opportunity like this one pal!

Posted by UWM on Jun-23-2005 21:27:

Mike post that miffed emoticon again, that you used in MD.

We are whirling out of control in a storm of Willy Nillies... Batten down the hatches!

Posted by Epicurus on Jun-23-2005 21:37:

You're all on crack. occrider and Renegade, you both have no clue what you're talking about, but at least you believe in God unlike the atheists (UWM and the rest), who will burn in Jhannam. Islam is the only true religion, and Allah is the true face of God. Jesus was not the son of man. And although he is recognized in the Koran as a prophet of Allah, I personally think he was either a senile Jew, or a trickster who wanted money and power, like all Jews. Mohammed is the last and truest prophet, and the Koran the true word of God, unlike the bible that's been modified a thousand times over. Our book is pure and unmolested. Never changed once. The true word of Allah.
