I call ang up to tell her to bring a guetto blaster in the car so we have tunes, but she didnt have one! so fack! lol!! so we pick up ang, show her how the stereo is facked, then get on the highway. its at this time we forget the gas gauge in the car doesnt work, it always says its on half, but could be empty, coudl be full, who the frig knows! he estimated we had like 30km left, and we were already on a highway, doing 120km/h, wondering if were going to run out! i'm like "we got fuckin 10minutes left on this shit, were done!!" ang is just laughing at stuff in the back haha. finally with me and my friend bitching back and forth we get off after like 15minutes, and get gas at some place. then we went the wrong direction on the highway and got lost, had to stop at crabby joes to ask where the fack to go, got back on. get to a fork in the highway, and my friend just takes the right one, then asks after taking it "do you know where to go?" i'm like "how the fack do I know!?? you seem to know which way to go!!" so he loses it and bitchs at me for not knowing hahaha! so were massive out of the way but still heading towards T.O., but eventually got there, and then no more drama or stress lol!! got to guv at about 12:50am roughly

i spoke to kelly and she told me she was there with friends who love breaks (shame on you kelly for not introducing us). if i was a bit more sober i could've put together 2 and 2 cause there is not lotsa ta's who are into breaks(especially ta ladies).

What an amazing night!!!

But it started pretty shitty- two friends I was coming with lost their tickets and were very pissed to say the least; they ended up buying new ones at the door for $65 each - for both of them they spend $230 on LoL tickets alone- now, thats and expensive night!!!

After we got into KH things got so much better!!

I dont want to repeat what most ppl said already but...
its hard not to:

Blank and Jones were absolutely mint!!! It was my first time seeing them and every minute was a pure pleasure, those guys ruled big time.
And not only their set but also their attitude and appreciation for us -the crowd -was fantastic! I was close to the front and I could see them smiling at us- it was so uplifting!!!
I pray they come back to TO pretty soon!

I also was very pissed at those idiots chanting AVB at the end of B&J, total lack of respect, those fu..ers danced and enjoyed the B&J set and disrespected them like that at the end- thanks Fahad for saving the moment!!


ARMIN, well I dont think I can add anything new to what was already said- like always he was great; I totally agree with everyone that said his set was solid. I dont know how I managed that, but when the bouncer wasn't looking (he was talking to some girl)I somehow bypassed him and got to go on the backstage- no- I was not the one dancing in front of the DJ- I was at the back taking a lot of pics- will post them soon- another security guy wanted to kick me off right away but I beg him to let me stay and take few more pics-he gave up and pretended he didn't see me- thank you nice security person!!! I have few great picsof Armin signing things!!! Fahad showed up on the stage soon after. It was great to see Armin!


I very much enjoyed meeting some TA and seeing those few that I already knew: Fahad, Taylor, Starsearcher, Jen- its always a pleasure. I am so happy to be a part of such a great group of ppl.
I'm not so good with names while partying... but few I remember, sorry for those I missed.
It was a pleasure meeting Tatgirl- sorry I was so talkative at the end of the night- you were so nice!

a bit long but promised a few TA's that i'll give a full review of my first time there.

It was me and my friend Leo who I convinced to come out to labour of love with me. we were having a great afternoon and decided to pass by the guv since he didn�t have a ticket, we found a few people from the crew putting up the tent we asked about the tickets they said to line up at 8 to get your tickets, and there was 1200 tickets available I said 1200?? Buddy u�re sure to get in, ��boy was I wrong, so we decided to charge our batteries before the big event.
We get there at 12, pass by the place and see this HUGE line up all the way around the complex, it was insane. Anyways we line up for a good half an hour to hear one of the bouncers shouting saying tickets are sold out only people with tickets are getting in, so my buddy leaves,and I stayed in the line feeling a bit skeptical about the tickets selling out.
They close the lineup to the guv and the only way to get in was through koolhaus I was frustrated before even getting in, I thought I was going to miss out on digweed (he was the one I was looking forward to see). Finally got through went to the ticket booth and asked for tickets and they were still selling some, I tried calling my buddy up but his phone was off.

Finally got in at 1:45 got in to feel like sheep, bouncers pointing the way and people shoving to go through, we went through the hallway and up the stairs until we got to the upstairs lounge of the government, as soon as I got in I see jenn from the bbq party smiling, she grabs me to offer me some candy (perfect timing). I excuse my self to be part of the vibe downstairs (HUGE MISTAKE ), but the vibe was push and shove, the music was great but the sound was a bit distorted, digweed was doing it for me but the place was ridiculously packed was trying to find a spot but there was no place to dance and it was stinking hot, couldn�t stand it so a go out side to have a breath of air walk around to see diginut and guy with goatee(sry forgot ur name). As I head back in I see Gamma heading out, good to cya buddy those were good tunes u played at the bbq party. I go back in and as soon as I get in I felt like I was getting into a sauna there were even people with shirts off so it somewhat looked like a sauna, i decided that its time to see the other rooms.

Here is where my mind fails me I go walking around up to the drink then up to the sky bar then i go down from sky bar suddenly I see Liam (it was good to see a familiar face cannot recall where i found him though), anyhow he takes me to show me around so we go to the tent where they were playing some sick tunes, we go to the back of the tent to meet this cute girl with a pretty smile wearing a TA shirt (forgot your name babe).
so LKD takes me to go to the orange room where evil nine was playing and we were totally jamming to some sick breaks, I see Ben over there and we all get together to throw some shapes. Here is where my mind goes really bad, all I remember I�m at the guv seeing digweed finishing his set Ali takes over. There I meet this cool TA named T-unit we totally jam to what tunes Ali was throwing, we decide to go to the drink where they are playing some crazy drum n bass was totally feeling the mc, from there we go to koolhaus where I catch the last of B&J walk around and see Ben totally rocking it I look on the other side and see Nat and dallastar.n I walk a bit inside to see this guy I saw at the bbq party but was never formally introduced I ask him u TA right? he says yeah fayraree. nice to meet u buddy but I guess I caught at the wrong time(there was this shirtless stinking guy right next to us I couldn�t stand the stench so I walk away to see fayraree shove the guy to the back). i wasn�t feeling the koolhaus although it was beautifull, so I take Ben and T-unit for some crazy session of deepdish on our way I see stilez and his wife we chat it up a bit and head to the guv we get there and good thing the place cleared up a bit there was room to dance. ben excused himself T-unit leaves as well, there is when my sweet tooth was asking for more candy. i get hooked up with some candy gone bad it made me go all over the place. And three hours through deepdish�s set I thought it was the worse set I�ve ever heard by them (I thought when they come to Toronto the lay the best sets ever), well they made up for it the last few hours, I was totally feeling it until sharam played say hello, had to run away ASAP plus I was totally sketched out.
I go up to the skybar and the music wasn�t as loud as it should have been anyways I saw RJ, Sean and Karim grooving to some demi hang out with them for a bit then I head down to koolhaus to see marcus going off to armin�s last tune, I go back to the guv and stay there. After 6 hours of totally not feeling the whole party when all the stages closed the guv finally felt good and intimate (except for the orange room and the skybar of course) and the tunes that sharam was lying were off the hook, Rob Mooney - Feelin� Electro was the tune that made my day my whole body was totally out that tune got me up again, dons feat Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam I never get bored no matter how many times I hear it, dreams was great and loved how they ended it with coldplay - speed of sound (Steve porter remix)what a tune to finish the set made me jump around non- stop.

The government is a great club (not my favourite though)but to be honest thought this party could have been way better. And the sound system was a bit distorted except for the orange room.

markus blew me away, B&J blew me away....and avb tried but there wasnt much left of me by the time he was through.....awsome night...club was way to hot but godamn it was fun...video and audio will be avail later for download so dont panic...keep the pics comin though!

As for my review.... the night started out on a pretty shitty note as I managed to catch my bumper on my garage door while pulling out.... bent both the bumper mount and the door frame.... Subsequently I lost about an hour repairing my bumper and the garage... good news, all is fixed now!

Chem, myself, and a buddy got to KH about just before 11. Mark was tearing shit up. I quickly realized that since I was already dancing up a storm by 11 the night was gonna rock.
Unfortunately, I missed most of Markus because I was too busy chatting with people to be bothered listening to the music. Well I suppose I was listening because I understand I was dancing but I can't recall anything about his set.... was it good?
About 12 I get a call from two of my friends... they just got there, so we meet up. I tell them to cool a little while I head to the TA meet up.... meet with Max and exchanged numbers so we could meet up later.
My buddies and I decide to check out Diggers.... we step into the Guv and are nearly crushed by the sea of humanity. The music was sick but with that many people there and all of us so Fawked that we can't stop dancing but can't dance because there are too many people we decided we'd best head back to KH. That said we managed to catch about 20 minutes of Digweed just trying to get to the Orange Room.
Make it back into KH and I've lost two of my friends but who cares...
Happy as hell to be back in KH where I can move, Grey Area is ripping it up.... I love live preformances! Meet up with Max again and get the grand tour meeting TAs front and centre... you guys kick ass.
BLANK AND JONES = KICKED MY ASS!!!! I can't even begin to describe how much I loved their set.... Stole the show they did! By the end of their set I was hoping that Armin had gotten ill or something so they would just keep going.
Unfortunately I missed the first hour of Armin's set because the n00b I'm breaking in go over stimulated and needed to chill. I spent about 45 minutes out by the tent with her trying to calm her down. Thankfully I was able to find her some K to level her out.... then I pawned her off on Chem and I was back to front and centre.
Armin kicked some serious ass. He isn't my favorit DJ but he was killer on Monday morning. That said, I think being with all you TAs really helped ramp up the endergy for me.
About 7am I had to troop over to Guv to check out Deep Dish (and find one of my buddies who had now been MIA for 7 hours).... I can't remember a damn thing about what I heard in there but I don't think I disliked it.
Located by buddy, said my good-bye's and then trooped out somewhere around 745.

All in all the night kicked ass! Can't wait for the next one.

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!!! WONDERFUL CROWD!!! BRILLIANT SETS!!




Diggers...B&J, DEEP DISH AND of course ARMIN!!! too bad I missed Markus �� he��ll be back again! And yes I didn��t even make it to Sky bar....I WAS WAY TOO INTO ARMIN and what he was doing up there !!! the furthest I went was to the tent outside with Ali around 6:45am when Sydney Blu was on wow some more ass shakin�KCassidy u were all over the place !!!metup with some old skool friends there which was nice but I immediately came back to Armin!!!

Got there with Ali, walklindude, naz, fahad and Jenny! Lineup was looooooong but it only took us 30 mins to get in...ummm i don't know how!!!

1) Fahad u missed RR Workshop - Electrolux vs. Ridgewalkers - Find cuz Markus dropped it as soon as we got in! u were outside buying a ticket for Jenny wow this was a good mix too!

2) Saw most TA's front nd Centre as soon as i got there at 11:30 a lot of ppl didn't even recognize me cuz of my hair but it was the BEST decision ever...NO HAIR FRIZZING AT ANY POINT wooohooo!!!!!

3) Went into Guvy for Diggers at 12am OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Massive tunes NO SPACE TO DANCE!! Booo so we took it to the patio where I hung out for a bit of Diggers set with jen, Kelly, Alex, Lars, Katie, Tara(Lars friend), Richelle! Grrrrrreat set my only wish for next time he��s in town is MORE SPACE TO DANCE! lol

4) P.S did I mention that the first hour and half I was getting text messages like the shit was going out of style HOLY FAKKKKK!!! Sorry Tiesto4Life that u couldn��t find me I was there on the patio�K.AND I MADE IT BACK as soon as Blank & Jones were on!!! Walking into KH felt like OMFG I��M ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE A SOLAR ECLIPSE or sumthin HOT like that!! And ask anyone I was yelling out ur name as soon as I heard
Blank and Jones Perfect Silence E-Craig's 212 Mix as Tijs never played it at the docks &
cuz I wanted to dance to it right best U!!! ahhh well another time I guess!!! It was good seeing u tho I think it was Geko who grabbed me and pulled me towards u hahahahah
The Killers Mr. Brightside Blank and Jones Remix, Purple Haze Adrenaline, Blank and Jones Cream these were just some of my faves!! The entire set was phenomenal !!!

ARMIN VAN BUUREN

Stole the show in KH for ME!!!!!! This man BROUGHT a million dead burried ppl to LIFE!!!!!!!No lies! I felt every emotion possible the instant he came on that stage�Kand I know a lot of ppl will agree with me!! I danced, sang, laughed and enjoyed every moment that he was up there!!! AMAZING SET�Kyes I do have to agree that B &J had a superb tracklisting hahhahah but ARMIN is ARMIN dammit!!! Went nuts to Armin van Buuren vs. Gabriel and Dresden ZoCaLo, Andy Moor Halcyon I don��t care what ppl say but this track set the mood right for the rest of his performance, Marcel Woods-Cherry Blossom, Armin van Buuren Communication Part Three, Energy 52 Cafe del Mar, RemixDelerium Silence (Above and Beyond Remix) Armin van Buuren, Shivers Alex M.O.R.P.H. Dub TRACK OF THE NIGHT FOR ME sean I was lookin all over for u but im glad u heard it!!!!, Way Out West - Mindcircus (Gabriel & Dresden Remix), DJ Tiesto and Armin van Buuren - Yet Another Suburban Train were some of my faves for the night!!!!!

My bf has been listening to Armin for over two years now and has always missed his sets here and he loved it which made the NITE even better for me cuz I know there were a lot of ppl there for example my very good friend Fahad who��s beloved wasn��t having as much fun due to the ppl and the music factor and I know it would also be in the back of my mind if my bf wasn��t having a good time and had to leave early! ****huggzzzz for Fahad*********


3) Two of my goals for the night accomplished�K..DANCE on the stage where Armin spins and get his autograph LOL!!



4) Got mad props from guys and girls even the f��in NICE bouncers on side stage for dancing like a crazy Biotch!!! I had a cru going front stage with four guys and we were all dancing and James the guy who was video taping from the stage was taping us and everyone around us was going F��IN MENTAL!!!!!!!!! I gotta say that the crowd WAS fantastic at LOL there were some bitches and assholes but all in all PPL were courteous and they were there to have a good time!!!




5) YES!! Armin was looking at everyone and smiling !!! HE��S THE SHIT YO!



6) FUCK U to the guys beside me who kept showing Armin the middle fingers and saying that ��he blows���K.I WAS YELLING AT THESE GUYS�K.too bad they were sooo fuct up or I would��ve honestly kicked their asses!!!

7) Went to the Guvy to check out DD right after Armin finished up! WOW!! JAW DROPS allovathaplace! TECHOTRONIC- PUMP UP THE JAM (can��t remember the name of this remix now) Bootie shakin tunes!! LADIES there were some SEXY boyz in the Deluxe lounge shhhhhhhhh hheheeh �K.and there were a lot of good dancers!! Im super glad that I decided not to leave but give the Dish another chance�K.i have taken out the ��Sleep�� part from my opinion now!

This night deserves 15/10----�� A SOLID way of ending this summer!!!!

My only 2 suggestions for next years LOL would be to get a bigger venue and for TA��s WE NEED TO WEAR THE SAME COLOURED T-SHRITS!!!! AND our meetup should be front nd centre and that way we can all recognize eachother cuz we��ll all be wearing the same colour shirts!!!!

TA��S met/saw/tookpics with/danced with- Sean Cassidy, Lisa~Loo (u looked gorgeous btw and we closed KH togetha Props to that hahaha), Cam, Cale(u looked soo happy at the very end), Dj Ampz, Dan, KKkefka, Lars, Miss K, Richelle, Alex, dance2dabeat, Danielle, Carney, Dancing Queen, Margaret, Ray, Rj, Graham, Sly Guy, Cuzo, Kabelicious, Geko, Tiesto4Life, Stilez, Starsearcher, Tordan, SurrJrs, Crib, Orko (we didn��t talk but u waved in KH fron nd centre :P), Chanoa, Spam, Dj Shawn, Maxtuh, MaxTo, Supaflie, Dallastar, Swamper, Tatgirl, Pettischool, Beach420, Trancegrooves + ur sista and Yankeebaby aaah man there may be some ppl missing but thas all I remember for now!!! Moral Hazard it was a pleasure to meet you finally!!! U do exist haahhhaa!!
