Ummm... oh. Okay.
Its better off for the teams that the closers get all the kinks out at the beginning of the season, so when the team needs them the most to close out games and win some important games, they will be there.

Mr. Crutch comes through with a big blast against the Red Sox... with the team down by 8 in the 9th inning

Scott Kazmir. That is all.

Beltran walk-off HR ends the game at last, in the 16th inning
Gotta tip your cap to Ryan Madson - 105 pitches in 7+ innings of relief

it was funny when Big Papi broke his bat over his leg, after popping out against Rivera
hes still the greatest, he would never allow 6 baserunners in one inning like wagner did the other day

Mets trade Jorge Julio for El Duque.
Interesting.
Scott Kazmir is soooo good. Just reinforcing it...
That's one of the worst trades but it's not like trading A.J. Pierzynski for Joe Nathan, Francisco Liriano, and Boof Bonser. Great name by the way with Bonser.
Randy Johnson suck so bad it's comical. A slider that slides right into the meat of the bat on a righty. A 90-91 fastball on most nights vs. 97 mph.
Man Ram is about to have a month where he hits like 20 HR's I think. I can sense that. I would have thrown a heater into his ear after last night's trot. Yo Manny, you were down 1-7. Run the fawking bases.
Why do the Yankees never pitch around Ortiz? Why? Cuz Manny? Well there are many times were it still made sense.
I think El Fluke-a is a little past his peak. He was garbage in Arizona but he does thrive when things mean more. Maybe NY will inspire him.
