Sir Lenny is up there now with the other cheap kick merchants - bowden, sincliar, yze (just plain soft), jacobs etc

mate had s black only got 21 tonight. sheesh.

lenny got 139 for anyone who cares

Posted by sLiCk_NiCk on Apr-13-2006 18:52:

pfft, whatever... soft kicks is a bunch of fukn bullshit... Lennard Hayes runs his ass off like his skins black and works ridiculously hard to be in the right positions.. the man is a legend, and is a R.Harvey #2..

im going back to bed to get rid of this headache!

yeh picked him up after fremantles insipid display against hawthorn.

lol drew k lenny hayes works his arse off, often up the top of the comp for tackles and even hardball gets. 38 is fucking 38, you dont discount a performance like that at afl level. and jacobs takes more contested marks than most. agree bout yze and sinclair though.

soups: im offended.

Posted by drew k on Apr-14-2006 02:13:

lenny has a gas problem, thats why no-one picks him up

alright, alright.. perhaps mr hayes is a good footballer and perhaps he works hard for his possessions. i still dont know why know one mans up on him..

how shit was aker and brisbane for that matter... long season for them

Posted by jizza on Apr-14-2006 02:48:

brissie dont really have a run with player (selwood?) to go with with hayes. even if they do shut him down, dal santo still runs amok. they played power on him and its a roll of the dice really cos power could have countered like he did against us last week at the gabba by kickin goals. there's not many taggers in the game who can shut a lenny hayes type player down, so the only thing they can hope for is that his impact isn't as signficant and the player on him counters his effect. last nite he was just too good.

Lenny Hayes is probably one of the most underated midfielders in the competition. When hes beside Ball, Dal Santo he gets overlooked. I would have him at the Pies in a heartbeat as any other side would.

He may not come with all the flashy skills, but hes an absolute gun!

can't go past a hardworking midfielder.

not as flashy as ball, dal santo, but more important in terms of their line up imo

Posted by sLiCk_NiCk on Apr-16-2006 05:05:

how about those hawkers!

i had a feelinm something special was gonna happen before the game...my old man even walked in and said 'i think u will run over them today'

full of run! and we got a good set of balls on our players..

bring on the hapless blues next friday!

see u at the bar drew

Posted by drew k on Apr-16-2006 05:36:

i second the effort put in by the boys down at skilled stadium. great effort with our skill level much improved, i just hope we can turn up against the blues to go 3-1. we still have xavier ellis and the other top picks from last year yet to have a crack.

looking forward to a couple of frofies next week niko

Posted by aL_mAc on Apr-16-2006 07:15:

you leave the state for a few days and footy turns into disarray!!

good win by the hawks but geez... what happened to the cats??

its odd turining on the tv and having no afl on either on a sunday all i wanted to do was drop munt.. but no! had to watch NRL booo

Posted by skot_e on Apr-16-2006 07:19:

Funny how being in this comp changes the way you watch the game. To days game, Ben Hart gets the ball, and instead of handballing it off, he drops it right into the arms of the Melbourne player, and lays a tackle on him. Extra point score - Woo Hoo!
i wouldn't have thought that last year.

Posted by 00soups00 on Apr-16-2006 23:28:

team 1 will do quite well this week with still simpson and fraser to play.. team 2 was a very very pitiful performance this week

actually the poor efforts came from M.Lappin scoring only 2 points this week. S.West and B.Johnson were also underacheivers in a win against the bombers...

Also, its about time to trade McLeod i think.. how long can i wait for him to improve?

Posted by drew k on Apr-17-2006 02:23:

both teams unlucky this week... i had j waite pull out before the bounce and my cpt Lloydy did a hammy

in my other team im on 1609 with 4 players to come today. Wells, Fraser, Thomas and Gibbo.

my TA team is prolly on 1500ish with 5 players to come.

The holy grail of 2k was there for the taking but injuries have kicked in and it doesnt look possible. i really wanted to catch cunning stunts, i wonder how they have gone?

Posted by 00soups00 on Apr-17-2006 02:45:

not that it really matters, because its herald sun super coach, but according to afl.com.au scoring, my herald sun team is on 1800 with Alan Didak and Dale Thomas to play today.

all the 'ifonlys'....

Posted by Fpcookie on Apr-17-2006 03:22:

lloyd was getting shit on all day before he did his hammy anyway
