Argentina losing made me break down into tears...however they deserved to lose. this was a fair match, no controversy at all.

The subs Argentina made were pathetic as they were choosing to protect the 1-0 lead and never brought in messi and sent out riquelme. Im at a lost for words. Now I dont know if to root for Germany for Italy but Im sure it will be just as entertaining.

I agree, Buffon has been superb. Also despite Czech Rep not going far i really liked Petr Cech's efforts, he's clearly one of the best in the world.

Ricardo is very dodgy but is on his top form right now. I don't remember him being so solid catching/punching crosses. Probably the best in the world in penalty shootouts too
