Holy Crap! Just heard the Ferry TE 08 set and WOW. Im not sure what you consider epic, but if i was there, that would be under one of my eipc sets from djs. Amazing from start to finish. He finally changed his setlist up for the massive events. Plus he is releasing a new solo cd soon so he might include some of that at the festival - least i hope so because i wont be at the thursday ferry show at space. If you havnt heard the Ferry at TE set, download away and enjoy pure EPICGOODNESS! I think with that set he will own Armin. But as mentioned earlier, for some reason, djs always change their set in the states and its worse. So who knows.

Woah, wait a minute - where in South Beach can you get them for 110? Besides Uncle Sam's who's only selling the combo GA, what other locations are selling the single days?

Thank god! just got my one day ticket, was about to spend 115 just for Tiesto!

sorry, I don't have the time to read thru the whole thread but are the Ultra tix sold in single days yet or is it still the two days? I'll check the first post

Also, do they give you the option of printing out the Ultra ticket yourself and getting it scanned? Or do you have to wait for the hard ticket to be sent to you?

what up guys? wonder if you guys would be able to answer a couple of questions? its my first time.

1. If I print out the ticket, is it as good as getting it through the mail? or do I have to get in another line prior to entry?

2. Are they going to be letting in backpacks to the event?

Any help would be appreciated!

Posted by planbrad on Mar-14-2008 03:05:

most of the time they are pretty relaxed at ultra. if you go through a line and they turn you back for a camera, etc. just find another line. throw the goodies in the shoes as there is always port-o-lets close to the entrance.

Posted by element-y on Mar-14-2008 03:46:

Always put shit in your shoes and just walk on your toes. Never fails. You can take the stuff out right after you get in. Did that in the past and even with security looking at me, they dont really care.

Well that makes more sense. But in a shoe? I can't imagine how that's possible unless its a slim and tiny camera. Even then, wouldn't it get somewhat damaged?

No, you take off your shoe and slide your foot back in at an agle so you leave a bunch of space in your heel(or other way around). Then place the camera in there. Cover it up by sagging pants over the show and try to walk normal. Pretty easy.
