At what point did I mention God, or religion, or any of that? It sounds like you're inferring a whole lot of things that simply aren't there. Nor do I seem to recall quoting definitions - my whole point was that the definition is entirely subjective.

You call it a lack of ability to own up to a decision. I call it a different decision to begin with. People make a decision that they aren't exclusively committed to each other. This is conscious, open, and known. In older times it was simply expected.

It's obvious that this subject concerns you at a deeply moral and emotional level but that absolutely does not justify any of the language you've used against myself and Malek, nor does it add anything constructive to the debate.

This isn't your personal echo chamber. Not everybody agrees with you. It's OK to disagree and to be as persistent as you like in that disagreement, but there's no need or use for open hostility and name-calling.

As for the personal echo chamber, that is totally rich coming from you. I never expect to agree with people and if you bother to read the whole 8 pages, you will see that despite the fact that I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND IT personally, I am VERY accepting of EVERYONE on this planet. Something you fail to display on a consistent basis.

I don't care if we agree or disagree, just don't misquote or insinuate that i have said something that I absolutely haven't or the same onslaught will ensue.

Agreed, no need for open hostility, and I think a lot is being inferred that isn't there. Rachel, you know I love you, but I stand by my words when I say Diginut & Malek are 2 of the most sound as f*ck guys ever, and the furthest thing from 'bottom feeders'.

Malek's comment has a lot of truth to it, and its a general comment, dunno why you're taking offence to it. And its safe to say that if someone is misunderstanding your stance, isnt there a nicer way to go about setting the record straight without name hurling?

You really, really upset me by insinuating that I think that Kelly is morally wrong. I think the world of her, she is kind and considerate, has a great sense of humour and is beautiful - for you to hurt me AND potentially hurt her by suggesting I think she is morally wrong is not fair or right.

I will always defend my integrity too, if I thought it was morally wrong, I would at least have the balls to say so.

Needless to say, I am upset on both counts.

I never made this personal. I never made any claim as to what you think of Kelly or anyone else. It was a general discussion about a general issue and you made a comment about sanctity. I wasn't even really focused on that word; I was more interested in the words any more and my reply was mostly about how this behaviour used to be a lot more common than it is now.

Let's set the record straight - I believe, without hesitation, that you think all of the things about Kelly that you mentioned above. I believe that there was not a single point in this discussion where you thought any less of her.

I also believe that you're horrified by the idea of open relationships and swinger couples and are having a lot of trouble reconciling this against your high opinion of your friend(s), which is why, the way I read them, your replies in here are all over the map. They seem to alternate between making value judgments and insisting that you aren't making value judgments but merely trying to understand.
