Well...it's safe to say that Canada is failing big time at these games. We were expected to get 4-5 medals yesterday and the grand total yesterday was 0.

Not that its an easy goal, but i at least wish canada wins the gold medal in mens hockey.
although these olympics prove that either our athletes just are not podium contenders or home court wasnt not a big enough boost. either way i hope we at least finish with 14 or so medals....
Also doesn't help that some of our best medal contenders were injured prior to the games & had to miss the Olympics as a result (i.e. Vanderbeek, Osborne-Paradis, etc.).
Either way, I can't wait to catch the ski-cross this afternoon prior to the game tonight! I caught the single run qualifiers & the course is mental! It should produce some ridiculous moments once they start running 4 at a time later today.

kinda sucks for canada
if they win a gold medal in hockey then big deal. its canada and they are "supposed to win". i mean its the only country in the world where hockey is the number 1 sport.
if they lose it will be a colossal disappointment because how can you lose in a sport other countries dont devote anywhere near as much / time effort to.
Joannie will be the one to watch to see how she skates after her mom just passing away
RIP Therese and I hope she stays strong. I expect her performance will cause many tears to flow in the audience.

for my sweet Kelly :P

LMAO! I had to get a shot of my TV.... anyone notice the thong FAIL?

I hope that was the women's competition
I like Jagr but I like Ovie even more. He just stamped his arrival at this tournament
Going into the mens hockey tourney I picked USA to win and if they do what they've been doing all tournament then I can't see anyone beating them. They're way more physical and defensive minded. They remind me of the Red Wings teams from the last 10-15 years. Canada needs to score soon or its over.
too slow defensively, Kane was skating circles around them.
We'll see later in the tourney if lack of timely scoring is an issue *cough Mike Green cough*

It's funny that each time I see "Rank 1" during the olympics, I'm not thinking of sports.
