my version of conspiracy theory: Insomniac and Giant will be presenting 'the official' EDC after party at Avalon with Joaquin Bamaca headlining
The repercussion to this is going to be alot of drunks A$$ people, careful driving back home. It usually helps when the event was open til 4am so people could get it outta their system. Central Jail is gonna be even more packed that night.

the only good reason i can think of for them ending it at 2am is if they're going to do some sort of official after party type thing. which could be cool, but also would mean more $$$ flying out of our pockets!

can you give an estimate as to when the lineup will be released? i know its all politics and business (trying to get people to buy tickets at certain times to increase your profit), which i personally think is retarded since other festivals don't have a problem announcing the full lineup (bonnaroo, rothbury, coachella, wakarusa, etc etc)
sorry if I seem kinda upset, but EDC is a long way to go and a lot of money to spend. I only bought my ticket today because from what I read in this thread I thought you were going to release more than 5 names

that sounds like the smartest and therefore most logical answer for the time change. it costs them more money to keep it going longer with no more profit. i'll take that.
yeah el paso to LA is a long drive, but its pretty straight and easy, and with a car full of good friends and good music, its a blast getting out there!
