Yeah anyway, do you agree then that it isn't unreasonable to ask people to keep bullshit contained to the threads they happen in? And ends when the day ends? I really think a major issue around here is that people (yes, myself included) drag their crap all over the forum, derailing threads and spreading the bullshit. It would certainly decrease all the butthurt around here exponentially. It's the most simple solution imo. SURPRISED NONE OF YOU THOUGHT OF IT. HAR HAR HAR.

Yes and no. I think that, in theory, it's a great idea. It seems, though, that it would be something that is difficult to practice. People aren't just going to go to bed and wake up the next morning thinking, "You know, that bitch said all of this shit about my wife/lover/whatever, but it's the next day, so I'm OK." I can see stuff like this being taken to PMs, which are impossible for the mods to police. Also, what is the cutoff? Midnight in a specific timezone? When you wake up? What if you haven't been to sleep?

I think that your idea has a lot of potential, but it would require a lot of stern moderation from the mods, which is something that the COR is not used to at all.

But your suggestion about taking things to pm is good. And yes the cutoff would be sometime late at night. We do have some overlap in time zones don't we?

Think about everything that has gone on here in the past couple of days, then ask yourself if that's too crazy. It's the COR, things have always been like that and there will be no changing it. People take this shit personally, even you to a certain extent whether you like to admit it or not (you wouldn't have bothered to post Bas saying you didn't give a shit if you really gave zero shits, for example).

You're right, but we've said the same shit every time something like this happens in the COR and there are new rules. Those "new rules" end up fading away over time and we always end up right where we are now. Maybe I'm just being overly pessimistic about this, but that's where I see this heading. I think we just need more stern moderation in general, 24/7.

Let's make the COR into a FLAMETHROWER with zero moderation outside of SPAM. If you catch feelings, you don't come into or post in the section plain and simple. Throw all rules out the window, if you post pictures of yourself or share them on the internet, it's fair game. Everyone needs to be accountable for their own actions and words, no crying about a 3 month tampon or posting pictures of mugshots. if you got bagged for a DUI and you told everyone publicly, it's your own fuck up live up to it.

This whole rules shit about carrying over to other threads is bullshit to be honest, rules make this place not fun, creates work for mods, for fucks sakes stop catching feelings if you want to spit fire be able to eat some of it
