I have the same family of laptop and i've painted it's palm rest w/ the blue to red mirage and it looks very simular to yours... I just can't tell for sure b/c of the pic.

This is actually my room, with Chris' laptop on the couch...

The projector was $2050, and the screen was $320 PLUS $135 SHIPPING (but it's awesome)

The 8200 just has "palm rest" inserts that were an option when I bought it... Hey, don't want to look like everyone else now do I? (also a waste of $35)

As for the mess, what can I say, I love connecting EVERYTHING to EVERYTHING (with a lot of feedback )

You'll love the empath. I love mine, it's just great for every type of mixing. Sweet monitors too.

Thanks! Yea i'm sure i'll really like the empath & i'll be able to start doing scratches & fast cutting!

Yea the speakers may be a bit expensive for a 2nd setup but at least I know they'll deliver, especially witha 400watt sub

the clarity of the sound just unbelievable. it's like driven a KIA(pcv-275) and bumping up to Ferrari(xone 92) "is it THAT good?" i have no buyer remorse in buying the mixer.

I totally agree, it's worth every penny... the minute I plugged my xone in I was just stunned at the sound quality...
