cubase sx 2. i'm a quarter way through the manual lol was playin with reason for a while, n managed to get my head around it pretty much but hated the sequencer and the fact i couldnt use vsti's and dxi's. expect shitloads of questions from me mate, come "mixdown" timee! [if you dont mind of course]

Posted by marsh on Jul-13-2004 06:43:

On the forums cummins??... firstly you expose my shady covers band past, now my sleep deprived blunder with the promo disc.. what's next? (j/k) I would like to point out that it was only about 20 out of 60 that contained that burn error (I hate nero! )

Glad you enjoyed it though dude (both the night and the disc). Don't you think it would be cheaper to move over here?...

I like the Hardboiled tops better

Some of those pics are nice, turned out well. Everytime I try and take a pic in a club they always seem to turn out like crap.. maybe there's an art to it that I'm missing.

Well what can I say. Gotta firstly thank the crew for all putting in a huge effort! It really made all the difference and the volume of people definately proved that! That was one awesome way to welcome back our punters to Room680. From the get go the place was absolutely rocking. Steve and I were having an absolute ball playing to a packed dancefloor and many could concur that there was such an awesome vibe about the place! As the whole night was recorded I will have available soon, our set (Steve Strangis vs Chris Pana) for download. I'll have a tracklisting up later tonight of the set also.

Oh, and I also had around 30 copies of a new promo CD I recorded that same evening. I'll also post a tracklisting of this (in the appropriate thread of course )

Gaz is one helluva awesome guy and great jock too. He definately played a wikked set! It was great catching up with him once again and I look forward to hearing more about him in the near future. He's definately one to look out for!

Well done people and look forward to doing this again very soon

See you guys on a dancefloor somewhere soon

Chris Pana

Posted by loulabell on Jul-15-2004 04:27:

Love is in the air THANK U!

As I slowly come out of hiding and realise its almost Friday again I best start the thank you's and planning for the next event!

So THANK YOU to:
All of the punters whom came along and danced/smiled/gurned and generally made my night worth while... I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves and come back for our next party!

TO THE 5AM POSSE - All our Dj's & Promo ho's who worked so hard to help make the night what it was you guys rock da nation and you deserve every little bit of praise you get. The music is what the night is supposed to be about and it all too often gets lost in the crap we call 'the scene' keep on rockin!

To my partner in Mangled shenanigans... see u for dinner tonight - lets get planning

THANX also goes out to:
The boys from Lumina whom provided the laser at short notice and did an excellent job with the programming (luminavp)

Jaymie from EVIL Needs Kandy 2 for the great jewellery stall (contact Jamyie via email EVIL Needs Kandy 2for all enquiries).

Of course ROOM680 for providing an excellent venue & facilities to showcase the bevvy of DJ's on offer (ROOM680).

The guys from VinylWarning for all of their continued support (www.vinylwarning.com.au)

so I guess we will be back at ROOM680 again in a couple of months with an even bigger act to swallow and plenty more mangled fun

In the mean time keep checking out www.5am.com.au for all upcoming event info
