I have a lot of trouble believing that. There are a lot of 'fan blogs' out there that do first person entries.. basically... role playing. But yea... she's a hottie.. Canadian too. My current favourites are Lily Donaldson and Morgane Dubled though.

edit: starsearcher.. i think i take that back.. going through her network of friends and communities they belong to... looks like a large and very public network of socialities o.O

yes! finally someone points out that sienna miller is NOT that stylish! finally. i was reading the new harpers & queen and john galliano said that, although she is one of his muses, the way she puts stuff together all looks a bit wrong. so true! AND in a completely different article, these guys were like "yeah, she tries to hard". it's about time. i was beginning to think the whole world had gone blind.

Yes. Great store. But then again, you can drop mad coin there and walk out with ALOT of clothes. It's cheap and stylish. Great store.

I dunno about you guys but I am in love with American Eagle jeans. Wikked styles, extreemly comfortable, and the price is like 50 bucks!!

I can't stand spending over $100 for jeans anymore.

i hope that taper leg/skinny pants go away. they are completely unwearable for anyone w/ thighs or hips. they don't even look that flattering on mischa barton (altho i think it's in part b/c she wears them w/ ballet flats)

i do love, the look of the sailor pant. the lines are much more flattering for someone like me:

clothes are better on the floor.

but yeah i have no fashion sense, i dont color coordinate unless im wearing a suit or dressing up. i wear hoodies and jogging pants most of the time when im bumming around (which is like 80% of the time) and clubbing, well i got some nice clubbing attire when its dress/style code but i dont club regularly.

its the family dinners where i look good.

got to impress my cousin, shes a looker

Ladies...I need some help here...

Where could I find a nice petite-size (size "0") semi-formal dress for Jenny to wear to a corporate Christmas party? It's our first time going to such an event and she doesn't have any dresses

So we checked out Banana Republic's site and saw some nice things for the "office party" but it's a bit expensive and we're not even sure if it's available in Canada or not.

Any nice places you know of or if you can even post some elegant ideas would be MUCH appreciated.

The party is on Saturday, Dec. 3 so not much time

We'll probably end up with BR but if you had other ideas, like smaller boutiques, that would be cool!

EDIT:
Something like this: (BR)

Went through H&M's website but didn't find anything...man, don't tell me I have to go in there

Posted by INTRANCE on Nov-30-2005 05:52:

I am not sure how much money you are looking to spend but stores like Le Chateau or Smart Set often have really nice dresses for really cheap. Mexx and Zara are really good for some really nice...a little bit more pricey stuff, but definately not as pricey as Banana Republic. Come to think of it, Zara has a really nice lineup for fall items...you would have to go there to look though b/c their website is not that informative.

Thanks for the help! I was hoping I didn't have to walk around looking like a retard asking for ladies' dresses in the stores *blush* so I thought I'd see if any nice pics were available online.

But I will definitely suggest Zara! That's more the price range...between Club Monaco and Banana Republic.

go to H & M on yonge they have nice stuff, also try RK on queen used to work there really nice store, melanie lynn has nice stuff too

Yeah, it's fucking nuts, last yr's parka is nothing compaired to this ****** lol

I'll post a pic for you soon.

This year ... I have gone overboard with my collections of Nike Shoxs.

dresses!

i was gonna suggest betsey johnson in yorkville, but it sounds like it's out of the price range you're looking at. however, there might always be sale stuff, there was some on the website. but then, i don't know what's available in the store at the mo.

i second club monaco, banana republic and h&m. h&m has some really cute stuff right now. or she could totally do like a really cute pouffy skirt with a separate tank top or something and jazz it up with some jewellry. and a nice belt cinched in at the waist. oooooh really long gloves would be sooooo cute with that!!! they had these awesome mustard yellow leather ones at h&m. ok, i'm getting a little carried away here.

point is, if you can't find a dress, do the separetes and accessorize to dress it up. but those are my suggestions.

i am soooooo upset that i can't do drainpipes. it's the bane of my existence right now. i adore how they look, but most people cannot pull it off, especially not i. le sigh. i hear ya on the sailor pant but the length has to be perfect.
