Yeah, it's bs. I've been here (Calgary) since last week tuesday, and EVERY day I've pulled between 12-16 hours. And I have to work tomorrow and Sunday.

Yup, that's life here in the great white north.
I miss my Pensacola pool, swimmin' 365 w/ bikinis-all-round never have to close it up. When you only have a summer that is 3 months long you want it open as soon as the ice melts, ya never know when Mother Nature with throw you a bone of 80deg. I do miss the beach alot, hot nights too.

Well there's always retirement to look forward to...

How far from the beach is Weston?

Eh, about 25-30 minutes or so. I don't go there much.

It's just the one project, so it'll be over in a few days. Yesterday was just freaking HELL. I went to see Armin the night before, didn't...ahem....get off the influence, had to be at work at 7, and was there 'till 10:30pm.

...so what do you do for a livin'?

Posted by zokissima on May-21-2005 04:34:

Systems Analyst. Actually, I'm still in school. Comp sci. Finished 4 years, but I'm taking one year off before I graduate and face the inevitability of life thereafter. I guess you can say I fear it. As for work, i've been in the IT field, well since I started univ. Lotus Notes administration is what I do. It's a mail/application server/client product sold by IBM. It's basically their business solution for everything, at least for the next little while

Posted by zookeeper on May-21-2005 04:46:

hey...an ANAL-IST LOL
Way over my head...I'm still trying to figure out why people's avatars don't animate on my machine. My last computer was an AppleIIe, I'm really dating myself with that one

Well, stay in school as long as you can, real life ain't no picnic.

OMGWTF It's Friday already?

I work at a subsidary of a New York insurance company called HIP. I process referrals for doctor's offices. VERY boring work, but I get to listen to my music all day long.....

....and get trashed at the office as well.

I got drunk on St. Patrick's day AT WORK and post-whored here in TOTA LOL.

Lol! Sounds like a cool job. It is fun when you can enjoy work and even get to have enjoyment at the same time. We have guys that come in drunk to work as well.

True. I usually drink Bud Extra when at work. It's basically beer and energy drink (like Red Bull) combined into one. A few cans and I'm lit.
