yeah some glutamine would probably be a good idea hehe...i always forget about that kinda stuff

sorry...don't know much about those products...

Posted by Nrg2Nfinit on Mar-02-2005 23:22:

havent tried no 2 lol

sounds like something youd put in your car

but glutamine is good for stacking i think.. its meant to be stacked with hydroxycut isnt it?

i avoid that stff.. when i used it it made me lose 5 lbs

you should always brea 2 or 3 days after a workout anyways glutamine isnt necesarry unles your stacking

Posted by Floorfiller on Mar-02-2005 23:24:

well i don't want to be sore the next day...i'm already always sore the next few days hehehe...or at least reduce the amount of soreness...do you think the heat pad thing would help hehehe?

what else...

i might get some glucosamine and condrotin too because that's more what i'm looking to reduce i guess....i just get really sore in my and tight around, for example for elbows after arm day, or like back of my thighs after leg day...just like to reduce the amount of uncomfortableness hehehe...

alright, quick question.

do you lot have a set workout program for a certain day? i.e do yous workout biceps only one day, legs only next day?

is this the best? i find that after about 2 workouts on biceps they are fairly sore, and cant do as much weight as for the another excercise.

So i was thinking of a mixture of excercises

like on day 1. i do 2 chest excercise, 2 leg ones, 2 for biceps etc. Also would plan on switching different excercises e.g one day do incline curl, then next day do hammer instead.

just wondering which is better? or does it make a difference?

you can do that if you want...but lemme tell you the differences...

first off i prefer to do three different days...

arm day / torso day / leg day

hopefully that will make sense for what exercises you are doing each day hehe...

but hear is the logic. if you are working a certain group of muscles you are going to be feeding those with the nutrients from that day. if you try and do a total body workout...well...you're gonna have to spread out those nutrients over the entire body and so each muscle doesn't get as much. that's probably the big difference. so a lot of people just like to specialize a day so that those nutrients are used more directly and efficiently...

Posted by Orbax on Mar-02-2005 23:44:

aye, I usually do a hot shower and a good stretching about 3 hours after a work out. and same the next day. Tends to get rid of the soreness

my friend worked at GNC and is a nutrionist person and loved NO2 said it was awesome shit. Filled you with blood not water like creatine and you actually are that big instead of pissing it all out 2 weeks later

yeah like Jason said,

Chest-back/biceps-triceps-shoulders-forearms/Legs

and yeah mixing up routines is the best way to keep growth goin! Hammers are a lot harder too hehe

you know if you wanna get big legs...you're gonna have to do some of the bigger exercises. i mean i really don't like doing leg machines...i like the presses and squats because those REALLY workout your legs. the only leg machine i like to do though is the leg curl one because it just targets it so well...leg extensions are worthless to me hehehe ...but eh...i usually still do them at the end of a work out hehe...

but really do some of the bigger compound exercises and you'll see better results

even though i'm working out twice a day...any lunge day gets its own day i'm sorry hehehe...too brutal hahaha

i can't handle two workouts on lunge day hahaha

man i wish i could crack a walnut...that's the goal hahaha

aint too worried about legs, as i feel i need to do more work on the chest first. just dont enjoy the machines, much prefer the hand on feeling on the dumbbells. Will give the squats ago.

well as long as it makes me go faster its worth the 100 bucks cdn.

glutamine helps you recover faster. so you can workout more often.
not sure about the hydroxycut mate. my friend almost had a heart attack on that.

michael19, i read somewhere, and i have herd from many people that working out your legs helps the body produce some chemical that aids your upper body to grow more. not completely 100% on this one...

yeah this is true. doing large compound exercises like squats makes your body create more natural human growth hormone so it does have benefits..

Posted by Orbax on Mar-03-2005 00:05:

aye "Spinal column loading" (squats, t-bar rows, deadlifts) produce increased amounts of human growth hormone and testosterone Ive worked out chest 1 time in last week in a half and from the 2 leg workouts ive done ive noticed it get slightly bigger haha. ive also gained 3 lbs

so its hgh, good stuff. now i remember arnold talking about it in a old interview.

my problem is my long legs, bar squats are a bit uncomfortable.

Posted by Orbax on Mar-03-2005 00:24:

From everything ive read its from compressing the spine not so much a leg motion. I dont think the leg sled would do it unless its one of the ones where foot plate is at bottom and your standing 45 degrees back

so what leg exercizes do you do floorfiller? i like the machine where your doing squats but you on a 45% pushing away from the ground. it has a nice sized base, so you can adjust your feet/legs in different positions to target certain parts of your quads.

thats the exercize where you hold a dumbell in each hand and step forward with one leg, step back, then do the same with the other leg right?

i find those to tone the buttox the most, its best to do them after sitting on the computer for hours on end. it prevents fat-ass syndrome.
