Sandra Collins - "Ode To Our", on Fragrant Red 1998

I'm pretty sure it's rare. Being that it's one of the only releases she has ever made along with Jason Blum and J. Scot G. of Course... I brought this rercord to one of her performances in Vegas and had her sign it for me... she said she wanted it because she, herself doesn't even have a copy... But I would never sell this record. I saw it for sale once (w/o the autograph) for something like 54 dollars and some change on musicstack.com

I also have the limited edition Ayumi Hamasaki - M (Above and Beyond Dub Mix)

I have a few:

Luis Duran aka O.S.S. - Rythmatica/Future Inside (Inductive)
http://www.discogs.com/release/264790

Datar - U (Hooj, one sided promo)
http://www.discogs.com/release/230230

Jon Shanks & James Cummings - Afterlight EP (Sub-Rossa)
http://www.discogs.com/release/227339

Funk D'Void - Diabla (Soma, one sided test pressing w/Heavenly Mix)
-Not listed on Discogs, possibly unique to come across?

I'm not too sure about the Afterlight EP though, since it only came out in 2003. The record did however take me a little over a year to find, not to mention I had to go about buying it from one of the users on Discogs... which was the only place I could actually people that had it. BTW, I'm the only person (on Discogs anyway) that has the Luis Duran record, so I don't know if that means anything significant or not...

Also, I'm not sure about these, either:

El Greco - Night Watch (Swift)
http://www.discogs.com/release/11414

Blackwatch - Skin Deep (Teknology)
http://www.discogs.com/release/14492

Those two I don't think are "rare" in true context, but they appear to be a pain in the ass to track down anymore.

You can contact [email protected] about it. I also did, but not with any succes.

Maybe this one will released later, but I don't think so because of being a bootleg

what's TPOD 1?

the sound quality of the white label is pretty good. the sound quality ID&T release is a little better, logical.

But not all in one. Or else you can also add this one:

Really a rare vinyl!

But I think it's better to stick just to trance music!

Yes, we really do need a rare records post for each genre. Don't get me started on old Italian piano tunes. Lots of those sell for tons more than trance records ever did or ever will, and are wanted by a whole lot more people, despite what Discogs may show.

As an example, go check out the record which led me to change my avatar statement, P. Lion - Burn In His Hands. I love it!

@waxHEAD; i've the track you requested in the for sale section, Sauna - Mirage. also those wave dub records, and some Nu NRG records (with remixes of Nu NRG on them), like Kamara - Ave Mea Italia

No problem about Head Honcho, it's a great record, and should definitely be in the list.

Regarding Wave Dub, if you have this 12" by Dope On Plastic/David Carr, I'm definitely interested. Please get in touch w/ me via PM

I heard that Eelke Klein - 4.5 Billion Years (Segment Records) is pretty wanted, because only 250 copies were pressed and Digweed was playing it...

i think UN should issue an internation law regarding all the electronic music starting from 1995 to be released/re-released/back-catalogues/whatever to a huge storage like Beatport because i have a huge list of tracks i will never find on the online mp3 shops, even
p2p wont help...

id pay a fortune to get em
mercury&solace (someones remix) is one of them
then goes jerry bonham - erendira
then goes starecase - hopeless
then goes altitude - excession
etc. etc. etc.

Agreed.

Its getting there tho. Audiojelly are soon going to have the entire HOOJ backcatalogue, in a few months anyway.

Other labels will follow suit once they find they can make money this way.

Ode To Our is a wicked tune from what I can remember. Typical dark and slowly building progressive trancer, though a lot more mellow and laidback than Flutterby. I was quite shocked to see Hennes & Cold opening one of their sets with it 3 years ago.

Hennes & Cold - Live On SSL Pickup 03.02.03

Sandra Collins - Ode To Our (Fragrant)
OGP - Pathfinder (White Label)
Mythos'n DJ Cosmo - Neverending Dream (Hennes & Cold Remix) (Unsubmissive)
The Freak - Addictive (Jinx)
Global Cee - Burnin' (Druck)
Mark Norman - Intimate Gesture (Silver Premium)
Angel One - Hold Me Tonight (Hennes & Cold Remix) (Epic)
Derb - This Is Derb (Tracid Traxxx)
Kai Tracid - 4 Just 1 Day (Derb Remix) (Tracid Traxxx)
Drax & Scott Mac - Angel (Katana Mix) (Black Hole)
Uptide Tuner - Last Night (Headline)
Fusion 808 - Traveller (Headline)
Danny Casseau - In Order (Invasion)
Robert Natus - Back To Bed (Holzplatten)
Viframa - Cristalle (Intro Mix)(Silver Premium)
Winx - How's The Music (Sorted)
Steve Bug - Pokerface (Pokerflat)

It's a good song, not particularly rare or sought-after though.

i dont understand 1 word/phrase of what you just said. though my english isnt bad, i dont see any relation to the topic (not that thats a bad thing or so), i just really dont get your reply. what/who's 'UN'?

UN == United Nations

It's a poor suggestion stating that the "international community" should force record labels to release all their songs.

You know, this is why artists purposely DON'T release songs. If you knew every song a DJ would play, would you really want to go hear them? Part of the enjoyment of hearing DJs live is hearing songs you've never heard, and probably won't hear again.

thnx for clearing up the meaning of UN

and you right about what you say with respect to knowing every song. some classic random big dj set, which might be more then 4 yrs old, are still good to hear, since some tunes still arent ID-ed (nor ever will be), like for example the first track on tiesto's 7,5 hrs set of dutch dimension 2002 ...
i 100% agree on the fact that some things are better left unknown, so you never know when you're gonna hear a good song again ... keeps the excitement in the game

Posted by keithos27 on May-08-2006 21:09:

or oakey's EMWT IDs... some of them are still unknown...

that dutch dimension tune is good.. too bad it was never IDed
