is this site a scam??? plz need info

Posted by riskytrader on Jun-03-2005 03:31:

I just bought tickets and they are the e-tickets type. Seems fine to me ...I just hope I don't end up @ the docks and get booted! The project orange site leads to this site so I'm hopeful it's legit!

btw, I DESPISE ticketmaster and their excessive fees. These were only $4/ticket for convenience vs. ticketmaster's much higher ticket fee. Plus shipping costs too...ugh, they irritate me.

I usually buy all my tix off ebay anyways...

Confused

Just bought the tix... But if GG has a better lineup then its the GUV

Posted by bossi on Jun-03-2005 04:37:

i just bought 2 tix. was a little sceptical about buying more before i call the docks to make sure this site is legit... i hope they work

Posted by house_conXion on Jun-03-2005 13:09:

Did the tix reek of cheddar?

Posted by Pareez on Jun-03-2005 13:11:

On Sale @ 10am on Ticketmaster

According to Ticketmaster they go on sale @ 10am but the price is already 50 bucks?

I don't see the price on Ticketmaster. It looks like on Project Orange though you have to have a Canadian address to order tickets. It has the option of selecting a country, but the only country to choose is Canada. So, of course, you can only choose Canadian provinces and not States. I will get the tix from ticketmaster if I can, but now for $50, even if it is $50 CDN. That sucks no cameras are allowed. I have some great pictures from Tiesto in february of 2001 at the Docks.

Posted by Moral Hazard on Jun-03-2005 13:22:

ticketbreak is the site that ProjectOrange links to so I would presume it's legit.

Posted by Moral Hazard on Jun-03-2005 13:29:

Okay, got mine now!

Posted by bossi on Jun-03-2005 13:30:

guess what guys they sold out of the 30 and 40 dollar tickets within less than 24hours...all they have is the 50 bucks from Ticketbreak.com should have bought more! dont know about ticket master but my friends are screwed!!!!

TAXES INCLUDED THOUGH. Total price for 2 tickets is $110. That's still a little high to me, but oh well. I'm getting them. Only about $75 in USD.

Well I'm not complaining really about the price, it's pretty much what it always is...what I am complaining about is that the other website charged so low for the first 24 hours which to me seemed not fair since ticekts officially weren't supposed to come out until today...

That's fine by me... I got in just under the wire.

Posted by ncgroov808 on Jun-03-2005 14:21:

I can definitely understand that. That does suck. That is amazing though, 1000 tickets gone in a few hours. I may just have my friends in Buffalo get the tix at an outlet there as to save on shipping. I don't trust regular int'l mail and I hate fedex.

Posted by starsearcher on Jun-03-2005 14:24:

I can't seem to access the docks website, or the ticket website right now...both down?

...No access to the docks website and the ticketbreak website can't be found...wtf?!

Posted by Izra on Jun-03-2005 14:26:

No the site isnt a scam, it is the site the docks uses. Ticketbreak is down right now for me, is it down for anyone else?
