WOW, just saw this thread so here's my humble two cents

Really looking forward to my second TE! I went last year and it was the best party I've ever been to. I couldn't make it to the TA meetup and I'm not sure yet about this year's meetup either but I still hope to meet a lot of you guys somehow, someway

One dj I'm definitely gonna see is Piet (Rank 1). I don't care who else is playing at the same time! Last year he brought me to (happy) tears because he played my favorite song even though he had told me just a few hours earlier that he wouldn't have time to play it Another one I wanna see is SvD. Besides him, Marco V is the only one in the main room I like. If time and schedule allow I'll also try to catch RvG, Marcel, SvR and Joop.

Here's a tip about TE: WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES!!! I can't emphasize that enough! Last time I wore my most comfortable "party" shoes that have never given me any trouble, but after TE I couldn't even walk to our apartment that was only five minutes away from the Central Station. My feet were still sore the next day.

I'm flying from LA on a nonstop flight and arrive in AMS on Friday. There are some other people coming from LA too but nobody seems to be on the same flight with me? Like the last two times in Amsterdam, my friend and I rented an apartment for this coming trip. I highly recommend it if you're not traveling alone because it's pretty cheap, you got much more room and you can cook if you want to. And no housekeeper banging on your door early in the morning!

About the food and drinks in Holland, I tried the fries with mayo last time and didn't really care for the mayo but the good thing is they have about a dozen other sauces you can try. Although it's not an actual Dutch thing, I always have to get my tuna pizza fix while I'm in Holland. I used to eat it all the time when I still lived in Europe but I can't find it anywhere in California Another must-have for me is the Bavaria beer and some other Dutch beers. I've never been a beer fan in my life but somehow I got addicted to certain beers in Holland

Ok, I think I've rambled on too long already Can't wait to party at TE!!! Hope to see you guys there!

Posted by Koolaid74 on Feb-07-2008 20:56:

^^^ ramble on, kid! Hearing previous TE experiences only make me get excited more. Also, any good tips on good eats and places to visit are always welcome. I'm looking forward to it and as much as this might be a cliche now, I really really really would love to hear Rank 1 play you-know-what track. I've never heard it live.

Techno Friik is right about the shoes... Even if they are the ugliest not matching but are the most comfy shoes... WEAR THEM. I had blisters the next day....

As for food. There are many, but I recommend the Schoarma... Its middle eastern and it is AWESOME... Also the Indonesian food in Holland is AMAZING! Not to be missed... Lets meet friday when I arrive and all eat together or something... PM me if you are interested...

okay you select the quantity. than click on next step button.
register yourself as new user, you will receive a password in your e-mail. after that login with your password and click on login.

Than you will see your details, click on next step.
on the top you will see which country is selected and I guess for the US it's only possible to pay with a creditcard.

If you still have problems, let me know

Yeah, but Escape's website clearly states that its 21 & up (at least for its regular nights, I'm not sure about special events like Tiesto).
