that'd be a steal. RM has been treating him like turd all summer, dangling him around and all the other stuff... i mean if marca's to be believed of course.

Yeah, a good idea, but you'd think it'd signal the end of Malouda for chelski if it happened. He's got the ability to play in england, it's if he could acclimatise and deal with the harder tackles at times.

fuck sake - celtic don't half like to rip the utter **** with transfers.

Crosas still not confirmed officially altho is the most likely of the recently posted signings.

Tamas deal is now off after a month of off/on negotiations, basa is also off now likely to go to hamburg (we missed out big time with this guy - he is immense).

Malouda just isn't a premier league player, it seems to break plenty of players and he's one of them unfortunately

Well i dont know whats gone on at Celtic to be fair but Liverpool have been just as bad at transfers. We manage to pay over the odds for all the players we want and get paid under the odds for the players we are selling because our board seems to be inept

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has ruled out 'any possibility' of Robinho leaving the Spanish champions for Chelsea.

definitely, van der meyde is another perfect example. Robben did well as a small winger and Ronaldo has good strength to help that. Malouda just looked ordinary, but I think Robinho would have enough in him.

Haha Shandy van der Meyde is just an alcoholic bless him. He hangs around with people from Ellesmere Port ffs!

Robinho would defo do a good job at Chelsea which is why im quite pleased that his move seems to be off again at the mo.

Yeah, he's good, but I wouldn't dare for that much money. With Rooney and Tevez in the squad, and Ronaldo scoring as much as he is, why splash out so much for another striker?

Man Ure don't need Berbatov as he's too similar a player to Rooney and Tevez. What they do need is an out and out goal scorer to fill van Nistelrooy's position which has never been replaced.

Benzema?

I think he'd do a much better job but i wouldn't have thought Utd could get him this summer. Jan Klass Huntalaar or Roque Santa Cruz i think would be more accessible options who would fit the bill. I mean with Ronaldo, Tevez and Rooney (with Nani and Anderson too) running rings around defences and then someone to stand in the 6 yard box and put anything in the net that comes near them then that would be a worry for any team in the world.

Because United dont have a striker. Contrary to what people are saying , berbatov isnt anywhere near similar rooney and tevez.

Rooney and tevez are not out and out strikers and more importantly , are not threats in the air due to their shortcomings in the height department. Ronaldo may have scored 42 last season but that was because he spent about half a game with the ball at his feet and that is what united need to avoid - dependency on a single player. Ronaldo should be what ronaldinho used to be for barca which is to basically take on and beat players and draw defenders to himself and throw in inch perfect passes or crosses that the strikers who are now freed up should put away.

Last season ronaldo had to not only do that but he used to run all the way to the center and then shoot blindly which is what fergie needs to curtail. Personally, i think there are better players out there than berbatov like Huntelaar and Benzema although Benzema has supposedly said he will stay at Lyon till Madrid come for him. Howeverm berbatov would have to do because he is a threat in the air and can score blinders as well as cherry pick which is what we are missing since van nistelrooy left.

Huntelaar would be great but there is no way I want Jan wearing a FagU jersey anytime ever.
