last year same thing was said about carl cox with UMF...and he showed up at Nikki beach Sunday...

That is horrible horrible news if that is the case...it does make sense then that Morillo would spin the Terrace that nite...

I guess I'll be doing the AM Only Party if they do one again

Karu re-opened under new management a while back. How or why I have no idea. We'll see how they do this year, I'm guessing they close again soon.

if he signed a contract with shine that forbids him from playing anywhere else then he can't play. if the contract grants exclusive rights to shine then he cant.

there are plenty of loopholes in those "exclusive" sets. They can just not advertise, not get paid, go under an alias, etc...

right, but then most people wouldn't know about it and they couldn't really headline (granted Carl Cox does that at Mixology on sunday nites almost each year).
