so, speaking of things that are meant to be: i read TA pretty rarely now and haven't clicked on this thread in, um, i don't know how long. so i'm sex texting (part time job to feed my travel habit) and it's slow, i click on the thread and y'all are talking about my favorite movie! do me.

i love the idea of fate in the movie. even if you erase someone from your memory, you're bound to meet and love them again, as is the case with clementine and joel, and mary and the doctor. it's nice to see the movies positively portray a relationship that is destined to fail. i hate seeing all these movies about perfect and fated love. there's so much more along the way, and that's the fun in it. so many people i know seem to think they shouldn't get into any sort of relationship with a person who isn't, or may not be, their ultimate and finito.

my favorite line: "You had the whole human race pegged."

I still have yet to see this movie, I know Im missing out bigtime. =\

i like how the movie crystalizes in the end. in the beginning the movie focussed on all the negative aspects of the relationship: distrust, resentment, anger..... then the movie shifts to focussing on the positives, on why they got together in the first place. which makes me realize that no relationship will ever be perfect. u have to work out the negatives/differences so that you can be with the person u love(the positives)

The problem that I had with Garden State was that it was told in a pedastrian manner...any idiot could have used the symbolism Zach Braff used...he didnt blow my mind cinematically...again, watch any film by federico fellini and then come and tell me that what that Garden State was "OMFG AMAZING!!"...you wont...

its a party my boyfriend and some of my friends are throwing. they have 19 djs -- including X-dream, pleasurehead, Dan Sampson, Sky (janette) and a bunch of others. plus there is open bar all night after midnight if you are 21. you should try to come! a lot of the dc crew will be in attendance afterparty at me and sky's place

what is wrong with me that i am so stupid that i cant figure out how to save tracks from a cd onto windows media player library? arrrrrrrrrgh i hate this program!
