i find those to tone the buttox the most, its best to do them after sitting on the computer for hours on end. it prevents fat-ass syndrome.

well yeah...that's the girly way to do them hahaha...lemmme tell you about...

SUPER LUNGE!!!

hehehe

you rest a barbell on your back like you would while doing squats...and then you step out...but don't step back...stand up there and go again in a walking motion hehehe...omg best leg exercise EVAR!!! hehehe

do about twenty steps of that with a good 100 lbs or so on your back...you'll be feeling it all over the leg...not just ass, but yeah a lot of ass hehehe...

note: its also good to do them with those rubber weights if you have access to them...you know the ones people use for snatch and clean and shit...that way when you are dying on the ground suffering to death and you know you're gonna die because you can't take another step...you can throw the weight backwards off of you hahaha...

Are you kidding me? Delayed onset muscle soreness is a sign of micro tears and your bodys inability to deal with lactic acid. The only way to avoid it is to GRADUALLY work up to 100% training intensity over a period of time, as apposed to never working out and then hitting a workout with 100% intensity.

aaah, so this explains why my arms are sore as hell It feels good tho, now I know that I worked hard

Posted by Omegasox on Mar-03-2005 15:31:

I think I've said this a million times in the last WO thread, but muscle soreness is in no way, shape, or form an indicator of muscle growth. Do not think you had a shitty workout because you are not sore, and don't think you had a great workout because you can't move the next day. You let muscles lie dormant for a period of time and they will inevitably get sore the next time you use them strenuously. However, if used on a consistent basis, the same workout will not promote soreness and thus let you get back in the gym faster.

Posted by Michael19 on Mar-03-2005 20:42:

okay, some came up with this routine, any thoughts? good bad, terrible?

quote:
Day 1(Chest/back):
dumbbell press
incline press
dumbbell fly
incline fly
dumbbell shrug
pulldown
another back one, cant remeber the name!

Day 2 (biceps/triceps/shoulders):
dumbbell incline curl
hammer curl
tricep pulldown
lateral raise
tricep kickback
front raise

day 3(legs):
dumbbell lunge
leg extension
leg curl
Dumbbell Straight-back Straight-leg Deadlift
dumbell squat

should i do abs on each of the days yea? should chest be done on its own? i couldnt find any other chest excercises i like so stuck in some back ones.

should i need more leg excercises?

Don't do chest and back at the same day.
They're two greater muscle groups and you can't do a quality training of both in one day.

Posted by Michael19 on Mar-03-2005 21:46:

so when should i to back? should i stick tricep in chest, then do back and bicep?
