Milan was very lucky to escape with 1-1 draw.

But key is we DID survive - AND coming home

yea about lyon. Not so much

Kthxbye

They're top of a lack lustre french league. got the "easiest " draw in PSV. Against a bigger club at this stage, they'd get handed.

You mean same league that produces AS Monaco as finalist 2 yrs ago?

Lyon has been pretty consisten in CL last few years and underestimating them is bound to be hurting.

And PSV. Even with key personnel losses they are kicking ass domestically and doing well in CL.

I second that. Not to mention orginally these games were gonna be on tv. Actually as of a couple of days they were even up on their schedule listing online. shows you how important champions league is. even the arsenal game yesterday they took out a lot of play as well. fit the whole game in a hour and half. Heres a thought though, more people watch the world cup then all the olympic sports put together.

Sweet game! I was at the edge of my seat the whole match.

Chelsea played with balls! It could have been much worse for them had it not been for Terry.

Although there were questionable calls by the ref (specially that red card), I think Barca deserves the win. They were dominating before the send off.

Man of the match: Messi!

- Own goal by Thiago Motta from a free kick by Lampard.
- Own goal by John Terry from a free kick by Ronaldinho
- Sweet header goal by Samuel Eto'o started by a nice run by Ronaldinho then to Larson and a spot on cross by Rafael Mrquez

Final score: Bar 2 Che 1

Go Barca!

PS. I love Satellite

Tomorrow's 2nd leg games:

Barcelona vs Chelsea
Juventus vs Bremen
Villarreal vs Rangers

I'm taking time off from work for the Barca Chelsea game for sure.

ps. According to TSN's schedule they *should* be showing it at 2:30 pm. Hopefully twats don't decide to change it for curling finals or something.

Posted by Yohan on Mar-06-2006 20:57:

^Hah. Knowing TSN, they'll shaft us.

Posted by TRANCEEEE on Mar-06-2006 21:18:

=( 2 from drogba and 1 from joe cole
messi will score for barca

i hope not
arsenal and chelsea should get eliminated ...
please pleaseeeeeeeeee

Posted by Yohan on Mar-06-2006 22:00:

Chelski is a good team, but Morinho is a first rate **** and deserve a punch in the nuts.
But, you never know. Joe Cole is playing best football of his life and he could have a big game.
Then again, the way Chelski struggled against West Brom on Sat, could be Barca's time.

No way Arse can lose to Real Madrid, who are in even more shambles than they are.

Posted by loconet on Mar-07-2006 19:27:

A few mins until the start of the game. TSN hasn't changed their schedule *yet*

edit:

Barcelona vs Chelsea End of first half 0-0

Barcelona is dominating the match. Ronaldinho is schooling that defence!

Posted by TO guy on Mar-07-2006 20:50:

Looks like Chelsea won't advance

Posted by loconet on Mar-07-2006 21:24:
