Fuck BT .. watch Hybrid.
B.T was aural AIDS on Sunday.
harsh.
was he that bad?? what'd he play - a bit of breaks, bit of prog, some mashups and some BT-style trance?
This thread's just sent little tingles down my coccyx
Hey, are BT and Hybrid playing LIVE?
I still hope to catch BT with his head gear on, as reminiscent of "that Better living through Circuitry" docu - making music with his brain activity. As cool as school! *cough*
So..... anybody up for pre-party antics?
Hell yes!!
Come to the warehouse, kicks off @ midday. Bring BBq Schtuff
Nick warren or Above and Beyond i cant decide

Nick Warren @ Parklife was meant to be the best set of the day for me and turned out to be a massive anti-climax .. i barred up when he opened with Planet Funk - Tears after the rainbow and the following 4-5 songs were awesome too and then the energy declined when he began playing deeper melodic prog as opposed to the big room sound which wouldve suited the party better which in turn him lose the crowd .. i left at that stage to hang out with some friends.
I enjoyed Above & Beyond @ GK more.
i love Nick Warren but i was dissapointed at his set at Park Life, probably because he played too trancey and after hearing so much tastey electro, house, and breaks it didn't seem to fit in with the outdoor arena. Some tracks i think i remember him playing:
opened with:
- Planet funk - Tears after the rainbow (fucking best tune of 2005!)
- Starecase - Vapour trails
- Freza & DJ Flash - Air Trip
- Montero - Captain Hook (house mix)
- Criss Source - Huggs 'n kisses
- The Killers - Mr. Brightside (Jacques Lu Cont) <- this went off really well but it came out of nowhere, i think he was trying to involve the very house centric crowd.
- Mic Burns - See me fall (Matthew Dekay vs Proluctors TROUSY remix)(such a tune)
- Way Out West - Domination
If i heard this set in a dirty dark and dingy nightclub it would have went fucking off! but just didn't grab me outdoors
Do not miss Hybrid these guys were incredible one of the best sets of 2005! the only two tracks i could ID were Planet funk - Tears after the rainbow (hybrid edit) which they opened with and Radiohead - Everything In It's Right Place (Hybrid Remix)three quarters through there set which was the best tune of the day / night. Most of it was phat electro and prog breaks
Gabriel and Dresden were awesome, playing alot of their own tunes. Way out West - Mindcircus was my favorite tune from them.
BT was absolute crap, not into his stuff at all, luckily Luke Fair was playing funky prog in the second room.
Above and Beyond were great, their set went a bit techy and then finished off with a few uplifting stormers
It was good getting Dave Dresden and Above and Beyond back to the afterparty. Scotty and Vi make sure you say hi to Tony and Paavo, i told them you guys throw the second best recoveries in australia :P
