thats like saying stereo will stop having house and will have dnb... if thats the case, i don't think they'll call themselves stereo anymore.

That's not the point.
Stereo is known for house, not for dnb. Just as well as Bal en Blanc is known for House and not for hardstyle and minimal.

'Move it back to Olympic, get those house djs Jester listed, and have new management overseeing ticket sales and promotions. Use Black and Blue 05 as a model on how to get the job done.
If there's no Cream this year, I will def hit Black and Blue again. In fact, I may do both. And for those nOObs who say it's strictly a gay rave, the gays had their own distinctive mosh pit and the rest (still numbering in the thousands) were on the other side.

Like bal, Stereo is primarily house.Sure guest Dj's deviate and throw in some techy/electro influences, but this will never change.Montreal is a house city, and house is what sells tickets.
I can remember a certain techno night at stereo that was really not well received by the ((())) faithful.
Even Sander was playing Pete Heller songs, and that my friend only happens here

We need fresh blood. |
Oh baby! *nods in agreement enthusiastically*

in my honest opinion, not too many parties in Ibiza can top Bal en Blanc, simple as that |

sound quality fine.
You can argue DJ quality as well.
But overall vibe and experience? Unlikely. |
If you really think that BeB is better than Ibiza then I sincerely believe you went to the wrong parties.
Ibiza is not one party(and even if you want to compare it to each then you have failed again) Ibiza is about the whole experience,
you wake up at 11pm to go to club Space after going to it in the morning to after party from that big Pacha party you were at.
you go to Space to see the vibe going insane, dancing with people like you've known them all your life who you dont have any clue where they're from or even if they speak your language,
whether youre gay ,straight, American , French, Palestinian, Israeli, Japanese or Korean people smiling all over the place knowing who is spinning but not really caring (even though it was James Zabiela and Sasha back to back, they were part of the party not the sole purpose if it)
but havening the newest tunes brain fuck you like no other with the best sound system youve ever experienced, and having the place packed to the tits with gorgeous people surrounding you till they kick you out.
at 6 am as we slowly leave the place you hear people chanting "DC10" as the after hours that we all should go to keep this vibe going, you stop and think can this party ever be topped.
you go to the beach which is a few feet away from the club to relax with your friends then go to your apartment to change and wear more comfortable clothes( tank top and shorts work just fine at this place) so you can go back to the same vibe, you get to DC10 and you're shocked its not the same vibe you thought, its even better!!.
as you get in you see the same people you just partied with having a huge smile that says welcome back now lets party.
you've got people with shirts on shirts off, you see a girl running around topless being chased by another girl running around topless, and the place is so intimate that you can slap Tania volcano or Loco dice in the face while they're spinning, and the music there is so dirty that it perfectly fits the environment.
as more people come in who either just woke up or just got off the plane to come in with a look on their face that says "OH so here is where the party is at".
the vibe there is so big that even big name djs seem small, the likes of Eric Morillo and the gorgeous Smoking Jo busting some moves next to you while she whispers in your ear telling you that she is throwing an underground beach party at Cala jondal on Tuesday.
you leave to take a dip in the beautiful beach of sa salinas (which is 1 km away from dc10) just to cool off from the heat of the place and have a hot senorita bring you a pitcher of sangria while youre at it.
then go back to the madness to see eric morillo do a stage dive into the crowd and people partying like its 1999.
after that you go home to sleep and have two days of relaxation, enough time to check out the island and its beaches, do snorkeling and see the castle in Ibiza town have a great dinner in the town or do some schmoozing in one of the lounges in the island.
Then you can go do the madness all over again but with this time with different clubs like Pacha, bora bora but you can never have enough of SPACE!!!!.
some people go to Ibiza and do it the "touristy" way by sticking to their program, checking out cafe del mar everyday staying in san antonio and going to the commercial clubs like privilege, amnesia and Eden and go see the #1 dj while Criticizing that one time he saw him then buy a shirt that says Ibiza to say theyve been there.
it just too fucking retarded to compare the vibe in Ibiza to BeB, you should leave Ibiza for the professionals.

Awesome post dude, I feel like I'm there!
Gotta hit that up some day...Brendan and Jesse you lucky bastards.

dude, I really don't need an education on Ibiza, thanks very much. I've been 4 times in the past couple of years, so that's plenty to know what it's like. And I've been to all the clubs and then some (not just Eden & Amnesia), seen the island, been around so I would relax a bit there Mr. Professional.
I'm not bashing Ibiza. It's two completely different vibes, that's all. There are no MASSIVES in ibiza, that was my point.

Sorry for the delay in putting these up. BeB had no camera policy so there are unfortunately very few photos from the event/post-event festivities (I forgot my camera in my suitcase for all but 1 hour of the entire trip).
Stay tuned for a "Special BeB Thank You" post.
