i beg to differ, becuase ferry is not in montreal the same night as armin, and yet armin is gonna be in windsor hell prob play, windsor 10 to midnight then hell come to TO to play 2-4 and from there armin is gonna be in montreal for his set at stereo.

and this is the revised schedule which i think is more likely

mark oliver 9-12
junkie xl 12-2
armin 2-4
THE KING OF TRANCE>ferry 4-close

sorry but Armin is in Windsor the night before. He's in Mtl the same night as LoL, so he is def playing no later then 3.

So itll probably be...

a few people have said to show up 'early' to avoid being turned away at the door... what time would be considered sufficiently 'early'?
also, does anyone know if trains run on a normal schedule on labour day? i've gotta get a train to waterloo straight after LOL so i can get some sleep

thanks in advance for any help

I PREDICT THIS:

Mark Oliver: 9-11
Armin: 11-2 (anywhere from 2am and 3am)
Junkie XL: 2-4 (depending on when Armin finishes)
Ferry: 4-close

who cares about the kool haus schedule, its all about the GUV!

Hernan and Digweed are gonna be crazy!!

any guesses on the guvernments schedule

I am guessing.....

Brad Copeland 9-11
Luke Fair 11-12:30
Benny Benassi 12:30-2
John Digweed 2-4 or so
Hernan Cattaneo 4 - close

btw this is just a random, non-educated guess

agreed. Digweed's the headliner act for Guv., so my guess is he'll close.

Posted by teufel-man on Aug-23-2006 23:59:

I agree that digweed is the headliner but i think they might "baby" him and only schedule him in for 2 hours.... if that even makes sense

like at decadence.... sander went from 2-4 and danny howells went from 4-close.... and sander is bigger than danny right????

i just have a feeling that hernan will play a long ass, crazy set...like he will be the guy that will play on forever for the crowd, lol i odnt know why, its just a gut feeling

PS i really dont know n e thing about either of them personally... i just listen to their music, never seen them live or n e thing

Posted by djstopngo on Aug-24-2006 00:05:

Cattaneo is a machine, I saw him play like a 5 hour set at crobar ealier this year so he can definitely go the distance. I see that holding true with ferry also, but we'll have to wait and see!

Posted by The Highroller on Aug-24-2006 00:15:

I would prefer that Hernan close the place too just because I can't see Digweed wanting to stay very long to play a longer set.

I wonder what time Guv will close this year? Last year it closed at 10:45am.

Posted by teufel-man on Aug-24-2006 00:50:

yeah when i think of digweed i feel that hes too big of a name to be the one to stick it out and play a long set and just give it his all till like 10am, but who knows maybe i am wrong

Labour of Love - Sept.3.2006 @ GUV in Toronto, ON

Just a last minute reminder. Labour of Love, the largest event of the year at Guvernment nightclub, is coming up so get your tickets. Some of the names, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, John Digweed, Junkie XL, etc. I hear that AVB, FC and XL are playing in Kool Haus but not 100% sure, nor the rotation.

Check out www.theguvernment.com

Get your Ticket!!!

Btw, does anyhow have suggestions for trance/house music clubs in Edmonton, Alberta???

Thanks

The all-dressed in white party is something else, plus I love them French girls haha. And, even though Guv gets packed pretty hard sometimes, it's better than dancing alone! Plus the sound system has only a few competitors in Canada, a very-small list!

Posted by Spin Laden on Aug-24-2006 14:22:

ha ha, the sarcasm.. LOL(laugh out loud). I'm so disappointed Montreal's not having this lineup .. so much so that I had to post my post twice.

Cattaneo and Digweed... TOTAs better tear it up.
