I lied earlier about what would be my next book -- I just finished "The Kite Runner" and it was absolutely fantastic. A must read for every single person on this planet.

Yes! I actually read it after IGK recommended it a while ago. I really loved it.

Mmmmm... read Hesse's Steppenwolf - it's even better than Sidhartha imo.

Siddhartha is a unique novel. Herman Hesse has such a remarkable grasp of the eastern mysticism, it's amazing.

I just finished The Outlaw Sea : A world of freedom, chaos and crime by William Langewiesche.

Interesting book. The American ports are so vulnerable, this book is sort of an eye opener to this threat. No one will know if the terrorists sneak in a nuclear device into the country. So many security measures are in place for the airlines, but the ports are wide open for attack. awesome book on the shady dealings of the shipping industry.
