While the Indy comeback was impressive, the Buffalo comeback was probably the most incredible ever. Especially when you consider the fact they were down like 35 - 3 or something, and did it with their back-up QB Frank Reich, after Jim Kelly got hurt.

Regarding that comeback...I lived in buffalo during that time and unfortunately that particular game was blacked-out cuz the silly buffalo fans didnt buy enough tickets...so locally we couldnt see it. Fortunate for me I was a 12 yr. old football fanatic and listened to it on the car radio while my family walked the mall..... good times!

That was just an 18 point deficit. The Oiler game was a 32 point deficit. I don't know if itll make a difference or not but im still going for the Colts to beat the Bears in the Super Bowl because the Bears beat my Seahawks.

Congratz to the Colts, they deserved it.

Devin's kickoff return was outtahand, moshed like a punkrocker ! ! ! Sucks cause after that they didn't kick anymore to him.

Colts win and it was a great victory for Peyton Manning.

All the skeptics have been silenced

Posted by av1 on Feb-05-2007 23:21:

Colts O-Line absolutely dominated the Bears D, and the Colts D owned Rex who eventually choked right on cue. It was not even as close as the score makes it look, and the only reason it was not a complete blowout was because of the weather-related turnovers and hester's kickoff return TD. Congrats to Peyton and the Colts, who deserved it.

BTW: what an awesome halftime performance by Prince. I am by no means a fan and wondered why he was chosen, but i give credit where credit is due. All BS aside, he is a truly talented musician who knows how to put on one-helluva show.

Spring Weight Room Numbers:

-Cooper also ran a 4.43
-Kirby and Kyle both ran 4.59 last year
-Kyle ran 4.71 this year, which Swasey attributes to him not being able to train becasue of his thumb
-Baby J didn't run, but he had a 525 lb back squat which Swasey said was "crazy impressive", Dajleon Farr but up the same weight
-Sam Shield had the fastest 40 at 4.26
-2nd fastest 40 was Bruce Johnson at 4.34
-Leggett didn't run, but has his weight up to 190 lbs
-Andrew Bain back squated 625, 1st on team by 75lbs, and 25 lbs more than he put up last year
-Youngblood also increased his numbers, eventhough he weighs less than last year
Defensive weight room #'s
DL

CC: 279lbs, 10.8 % body fat. 515 sqaut, 330 power clean. 4.88
Richard Gordon: 263lbs, 500 squat, 301 power clean. 4.51
Moncur: 525 back squat, 340 power clean, 335 bench
McCray: 545 squat, 330 power clean
Harris: 251lbs, lost a step and ran a 4.83, compared to 4.75 last year
Dixon: Came to UM at 360lbs. Lat year got down to 343, now down to 334. Bench 375

LB

Adkins: 410 bench, 345 PC, 550 squat
McCarthy: 390 squat, 4.18 short shuttle
Gooden: Fastest @ 4.43 40, 4.09 short shuttle

DB

RP: struggling with body fat. Is at 9%. 4.61 40. Swasey says if he gets down to about KP body Fat level he'll be in the 4.5's, because he's sqautting 470, so he's got the power.

Grant: 4.56 40
Sharpe: 4.56, but was told to run it easy due to a sore ankle. 3.92 short shutle, 0-10yd 1.45
Jonhson: 4.34.
Armour: 415 squat, 275 bench
KP: 415 squat, 4.53 40
Wiggins: 4.7 40 (probably due to being a bit out of shape, as mentioned in his herald Q & A article out today) 0-10yds 1.48. Swasey says look for him to improve like grant from now to next year. Grant ran a 4.7 last year, 4.5's now.

calais campbell is a freak of nature! 10+ sacks this season he's already suppose to be a top pick in the draft next year. Adkins is a beast in the weight room i just hope he steps it up this year, and trust me i know all about them noles my friend in the cubicle in front of me is a HUUUUUGGGGEEE fsu fan

Posted by av1 on Jun-06-2007 00:52:

It's 100% confirmed, finally, Trent Green traded to the Dolphins. There is a God. Now we can trade, I mean cut Culpepper.

Posted by Trojanman on Jun-11-2007 22:59:

you actually wanted trent green????? for that keep culpepper. its messed up that they havent released him. i think in the fins' minds they thinkk they can trade him...hahahah yea right ..no team is gonna take up his contract 50 million dollar contract. right now his stock is reallly low. he is gonna have to take a major pay cut when he goes to another team because he wont be starting anywhere this year .....i think lol

as for green ...the guy is one hit away from eating jello from a straw on a hospital bed

instead of "the curse of the bambino" we have "the curse of marino"

Did you see the crap that daunte Cullpepper has been ever since he lost Randy Moss? Culpepper couldn;t hit a barn with a fucking bazooka he is so bad. And save that knee bullshit for somebody else, because he started sucking ass way before his knee went out. Culpeper's problem is he has no fuckin brain in that head of his, he cannot read defenses at all, throws into double, triple, quadruple coverage over-and-over again. And that my friend is the plain simple truth. Culpepper sucks, end of story. He is so bad I would take a quadriplegic blind man with no arms at quarterback over him.

Posted by Trojanman on Jun-12-2007 10:44:

so you take an older qb to take his place? a guy who is afraid to get hit that hard again. who if he does get hit again he might not come back like steve young or aikman. then why draft Beck??

look u keep culpepper till he loses a few games and throw the 26 yr old rookie in and see what happens....but noooo the fins think they can win with what we got. this year were gonna suck ..another 6-10 year my friend.

we get green who if he doesnt get hurt he will be here 2-3 years by the team Beck gets his shot he'll be close to 30!!!!

im sorry but i dont think green is the answer..hes sucked in st louis and he sucked at kc. the only thing he did was put up numbers but no superbowl.

Posted by PatMcGroin on Jun-12-2007 17:16:

i hate flipping through the channels on tv and seeing old football games. makes me wish it was september already!!!!!

You are probably one of those genuises that just last year wanted Culpepper instead of Drew Brees. I remember all you experts talking all that shit about how Brees had taken a massive hit and had an injured arm, couldn't get hit on that arm ever again, was afraid to get hit again, yada yada yada. Look how great that decision turned out, just ask the Saints.

Now its deja vu all over again with your defending Culpepper as a better choice than Green, and making all the same arguments against Green that were made against Brees. Sorry, you all were wrong last year and are wrong again this time. Maybe your last name is Saban?

Face it Culpepper is shit, time to cut bait. A fuckin Umpa Lumpa on acid is better than Culpepper. Whether the new QB is older, fatter, blind, disabled, drunk, high, 1 foot tall, you name it, it's better than Culpepper. He is bar none the worst QB I ever saw play for the fins, and that is saying a fuckin lot.
