Lame, I agree bro

Alonso and Massa are both aces in my book

if they want to cut costs, put a salary cap. then everyone has the same budget.

Hamilton takes the poll............then the 2 ferraris, alonso and kov.

So Kov. wont be any help to Ham. in the race coming up. Cant wait, this track has so much overtaking possibilities. And after this... BRAZIL

I cant believe the season is almost over

what was that poll ? the ING one ? ?

As I expected a boring race.

Posted by pmoisse on Oct-19-2008 10:06:

Was that a race? It looked like a time trial / extended practice session. Boring. I knew I should have slept in late instead.

I was hoping that Kubica was somehow on a 1-stop strategy but when I saw they only put 16 laps of fuel in him at the second stop, my hopes for a strong finish from him were gone.

Brasil should be interesting, if anything for the first corner / first lap alone.

too bad nobody did any lol
wasn't the most exciting race of the season, but at least the championship is going down to the wire again, brazil is looking pretty interesting!

Well it looks like Lewis has it all but locked up. At least we know Massa is a good guy and won't try and run him off the road.

Yes, that was one hell of a boring 'race'. Staying up from all night to finish at 5am was not worth it. Although it is always more interesting watching the live timing with the race. Watching Kimi and Hamilton battling sector to sector was pretty interesting. Kimi is fast as hell, but the Ferrari was no match for the McLaren this time around. Hiki needs to be fired right away.

Posted by nchs09 on Oct-20-2008 02:31:

alonso and kov. had a couple of interesting duels in the fist part of the race.

but then the race was boring.

but i was happy mclaren won

Posted by Orko on Oct-20-2008 04:31:

It would have been fantastic if McLaren had fired Hiki for next season and then hired Kubica. Two young guns at Mclaren, still playing out their GP2 battles.

Then at Ferrari you would have two middle of the road guys. Both fast, and with different motivation.

Both teams would have a one times world champ, with their rival chasing.

Please, please Mclaren, make it come true.

Kubica never drove in GP2

I dislike Lewis Hamilton, I can't deny he's a fantastic driver, but I think his attitude stinks.

Kovalainen is about as pointless as an ashtray on a motorbike. How can someone be so consistently painfully shite?

I'm delighted with this weekends result. And the fact that everyone is getting so wound up by Hamilton's apparent 'attitude problem' just pleases me more.

Posted by nchs09 on Oct-21-2008 02:22:

What attitude? Do they show him running his mouth in your broadcasts? They dont show that here....

The most consistent blabbermouth in Formula 1 is Alonso.

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Oct-21-2008 07:48:

Yea, it's been reported all over the UK press that he's been getting a bit of a hammering from other drivers, teams, officials, etc about being arrogant and over-confident. His response, which was summed up quite nicely by Martin Brundle, was of the nature "well, catch me if you can." This article explains a bit more of what has been happening:

I'd tend to agree with you, but this last weekend McLaren actually fitted his tyres wrong for the entire first stint, and tried messing with the wing at the pitstop thinking that was the problem. Then the car died, which has happened several times this year already - while Hamilton's car seems to be bullet proof.

So, while he's often been slow, it hasn't been entirely his own fault.

Posted by nchs09 on Oct-21-2008 19:18:

He has qualified well, so i cant hate him for that, but in the race, he is so slow. He never seems to make big mistakes in the race either (before the ones that are not his fault like engine failures and waht not)

I hope Massa wins and Hamilton crashes but no-one gets hurt.
