I would be leaving from Yonge/Eglinton.... and could give a ride to a couple people if needed.

Lesson #1 of event planning: People always show up late.

Even if everybody showed up at 6 on the dot, cevaps are quick to prepare but it'll still take a while for 20 or 30 people. Very unlikely we'd actually be eating until 6:30 or even 7. Especially with freaky vegetarians who are going to need to spend 20 minutes fussing over the menu.

If we wait until 7 then it'll probably be 7:30 or 8 before we really get to eat, which is pretty late.

Some people may be trying to plan their night around a club, in which case I can understand the desired lateness, but many of us will probably have other plans, like an hour-long drive home followed by sleep. Timing should be dictated by hunger and how early people can arrive, not by how late they want to stay out - it's easier to kill time than it is to recover it.

We'll see how it goes though. 6:00 - 6:30 is only my strongly-worded suggestion.

I agree with 6pm

I don't think its late at all. Its a great time

Six p.m. at Zam's works fine for me. I'd also prefer an earlier (rather than later) time. Six seems ideal.

I think 6 works, as Im sure we will be a few hours in the restaurant.
And then we will digest our food/pre party somewhere downtown (my place may be an option, Ill know closer to the date if my roomie will be home or not) and then PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG

Well a couple of us were talking about going out to party after, and what a treat... GALLERY IS OPEN So to me, this is the best. I REALLY think you should join us. Plus I believe Christopher Lawrence in in MR if thats your thing...

So far everyone except Ania ( ) seems to be cool with 6:00 PM, so I'm going to go on record and say Zam @ 6:00.

Of course you can show up whenever - we'll definitely be there until after 7 and quite possibly 8.

It's still early enough to change the time if we suddenly get a huge number of people who can't make it. But let's try to work together if possible.

Miki, think you could give 'em a call and make sure we're able to book it? (Although I don't think we should actually make a reservation until we have final confirmation from everyone or almost everyone).

Oh and Ear - no problem. That's one seat, so I can take two more if anyone else is still looking.

Good - we've finally managed to come to a consensus. I edited the first post with details. Miki, as Digi suggested, can you call the place and see if we're able to make a reservation for the 31st?
