If it makes any difference, we're going to Bleu on Sunday because Mathias (Quadlow) is playing in the basement - we can probably get you listed, and we'll only be there for a bit (Mathias' set) before heading to Temporary Tattoos.

Bleu is somewhat of a cool place, but I am very, very unwelcome there these days - so I'm pretty much only golden to go on Sunday.

One of the guys who does the majority of the booking for them used to be a good friend of mine, but he took advantage of me (financially) in a big way and I chose to let everyone know about it rather than let him off the hook.

He's definitely made talking shit about me to whomever would listen a bit of a personal crusade the last few years as a result. Oh well, no big loss save for the fact that we do still have a few mutual friends, so I get to hear about it on the regular.

So what's everyone Saturday schedule? I care more about that then coountless reposts.

I land around noon so I figure I'll get to DEMF at 2-3.. Def want to see Egyptian Lover, Joris Voorn and Moby dj set.

four days and counting

getting there at 11, I think. check in, head over shortly after noon.

our train gets in at 3:15 on Saturday, and i think we're going to our hotel to drop shit off and then heading to the festival. not sure what acts i want to see... definitely Joris Voorn and Brian Kage if we make it there in time for him.

I'm actually not that concerned cause I'm guessing Joris will be doing a DJ set at this party. Which is still really good, but his Live PA is where it's at, and we'll get to see that Saturday at the festival.

Also, re: temp tatoos, I know someone who is personally involved in a piece of the party, and it is doubtful that they will see any kind of profit. According to my friend they need to keep a # of guestlist spots open for all the additional DJs/producers/connected folks in detroit for the weekend who will most likely be stopping by. Add the fact that its only 300 capacity + the pretty huge line-up...and...yeah.


Just thought I'd offer a different perspective.
