But you can write off both of those cars if they are against a new ZR1.620hp, Its torque peak of 604 pound-feet comes at a low 3800 rpm. ![]() Murcilago LP640 : 640 Bhp at 8000 Rpm Veyron retains the record-breaking 1001 hp 2000 Ferrari Enzo. Horsepower: 660 bhp @ 7800 rpm. 2008 Porsche Carrera GT 5.5-liter V10 612 horsepower Dont let just horsepower numbers form your opinion though. Gearing and all around design can make a lesser hp car stomp the car with higher numbers. Like the porsche carrera GT would kill that saleen even though on paper the saleen might look better...its a pig. The exotics are made from carbon fiber and are alot lighter and agile. |

the gt2 is definitely rwd. i sat in one at a porsche expo one time and the salesmen told me that about porsche.
ya, i think the c4, targa and turbo are 4 wheel drive.
god i love porsche. all of them. black cayenne turbo with/black rims & white leather interior w custom black trim on it? OH YEAUR
Turbo and cayenne are only awd, carrera gt gt2, gt3, boxter and cayman are only rwd. Everything else, take you'r pick.

the cayenne has like 380 hp which is pretty damn nice for an suv
500 on the turbo i think... i remember hearing on top gear its limited to 160 or something because the tires would burst becuase of the weight of the car.

Mad horsepower but also insane fuel consumption.

Well to be perfectly hones you can get the "Holly fuck im driving a Porsche" even in the cheapest boxter, a GT2 is basically an unforgiving race car which will kill you if you're not at the top of your game all the time while behind the wheel. And it will kill you, Porches are knows for taking out lousy drivers who have more money than brains. There is a reason why the first turbo was nicknamed "The Widowmaker"

The boxter.. the poor mans porsche. It is supposed to be a proper roadster but if you have one it just means you cant afford a 911

That can be true, but even new Boxters don't come that cheap and are quite useless as the primary car so if you can afford a boxter and another car for doing boring family stuff you are still quite well off.
And even porsche dealers get confused with the 911 range sometimes, so its quite understandable that everybody else gets confused too
a lot of people who aren't really into cars or have any knowledge of them, don't realize how expensive the faster porsches are. i told a friend of mine one time that they get up to 180k for the gt2 + and he was like "WHAT? a porsche?" lol
and porsche is really big in south florida. i see some sick ones...and i mean SICK ones (custom paint, kits, etc... on GT2s) at least once a week driving around ft. lauderdale.
perfectly happy with this little bitch.
Custom kits on a GT2? I see that on the same level as using a really really big brush to paint a moustache on a Mona Lisa, with bright red paint no less. I can understand modifying cheaper, slower porches, but a gt2 has been hand crafted to perfection and the only thing that that car needs to shine at its brightest is a race track or an empty patch of curvy road during the night.
And porsches are one of my favourite cars, even if money was no object i would take a porsche over any other supercar with the only exception of a Ferrari, but that holds a very special place in my heart.
