Brodeur out for 3-4 months due to shoulder surgery, go devils!

They are SO fucked.

quite ironic since all the fuss is being made about the landmarks he's close to

I bet Sundin doesn't wanna continue his career because he realized that he can't beat Numminen

Not if he joins Detroit.

Won't happen.

It really sucks for Brodeur (more so for the devils), he was so close to over taking Patrick Roy for the all time wins lead.

obviously it wont.

yea i feel bad for brodeur, but hes an iron horse, he probably wont be out as long as they say, and im sure hes got a good... 20 years to go before he starts to suck.

Just got back from the Ducks vs. Blues (free tix). Both teams looked weak but I was there to see how the blues looked because they play the sharks tomorrow. Blues looked like crap, should be an easy win for the sharks as long as they keep playing hard. My buddy just gave me 4 tickets and parking pass to the sharks vs ducks in march. Stoaked about that!

Posted by bamski on Nov-06-2008 06:25:

Latest headline I read was that the Ducks were after Sundin too

Is there a team that isn't after Mats?

I'm starting to grow tired of these rumors.

TSN has been doing a power ranking since the beginning of the season (us college football style) that is updated every week. I do not always agree with it, but it is a great way to keep track of injuries and read about every team in just a few sentences.

http://www.tsn.ca/fantasy_news/feature/?fid=548

Sundin is going to a Canadian team Vlad. Because of all the investments he has in Canadian businesses he already has to pay income tax there, and if he ends up playing in the US the tax situation will be unbearable to him. At this point, i don't care anymore, because there is no way he is going to a cup contender and i do not think he makes any of the teams interested a cup contender.

The Habs, Flames and Canucks are all good teams, that would get better with his services... all but the Habs lack the depth to really contend though.

I didnt know about his investments and businesses, so if thats what happens, it happens, better off cause you dont want him going to a really strong team and making them better.

Ducks...

The slow start is in the rearview mirror and it's the big names who are leading the charge. Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf and Teemu Selanne have combined for 34 points in the last five games.

----------------

I love this summary, because all three are on my fantasy team.

Great game by the Rangers... Shooting a ton at the net, playing well defensively (expect that one line shift where Girardi was left out of position against a streaking St. Louis). Voros took a beating from Smith, the guy kept slashing at his legs with the stick - didnt get caught til the end of the game. Drury had a hat trick, Zherdev still playing great, and of course Lundqvist coming up with some beauty saves.

Clowe getting his GH Hatrick

Posted by L.E.N. on Nov-07-2008 03:39:

Blues are using a goalie named Bishop that is 6'7!

Posted by L.E.N. on Nov-07-2008 06:23:

Way too close...Sharks win on a shootout but Nabkoz looked like he pulled a groin or hamstring. This sucks going into dallas on Sat.

Come on man... Dallas? Turco has more holes than swiss cheese this season.

Easily their best game of the season. After Tuesday's terrible loss to the Isles, great way to bounce back on special teams.

Special teams in hockey can refer to the power play unit or penalty killing unit.

Well Dallas is our biggest rival so I know they will be coming in swinging. When Turco is on, hes damn good. He hasnt found it yet this year though. Sharks have Boucher as a back up. Hes only played 2 games but they were shutouts. He might be ok for the game. Last night was just a mess. Glad to see they could get the win even though the team was having a tough time getting into the groove. It shouldnt have been that close.

the habs are not interested anymore, and do not have the cap room to make this move even if they were. My bet is Vancouver, my bet is also that this move will be an epic failure.

Vancouver is the only team that has the cap room tom pay him 10 million a season.

Yeah, and our PP is 19th in the league after spending 2 years at the top. I guess losing Mark Streit was a bigger deal than i thought. Kovalev has been sleeping a bit, but after his massive night in Long Island, i think it is about to change. Man is having 3 powerful scoring lines fun.

It doesnt even matter cause the Habs are scoring at full strength.

If Vancouver gets Mats... Ill laugh, definitely will be an epic fail.
