When you have a majority of folks who have seen Paul play in various places.. we all ADMIT that Nov 05 is our top. None of us have ever agreed as much as we agreed that 1 night.


His s/n is because he sets up lasers for shows in various parts of the country.

I'm sorry Mellymel but it's just hard to take you seriously ever since your Ferry Corsten review. Aside from 1 song or 2 that was the biggest pile of dog shit I heard all week yet you and your boyfriend somehow managed hear the best set of wmc? I don't think it's me that needs to lay off the drugs.

I'm glad we managed to clear up the original argument though, PVD @ Space Miami 05 was indeed NOT the best set he ever played but probably the best set the Trance Addict Golden Oldies ever witnessed together.

Also, no one here is trying to defend themselves to you. Trance wise I heard A&B for 5 mins and the rest was anjunadeep.. then I went to Get Lost. So as far as trance (which wasn't much) - Ferry ripped it. The new breakfast tune is amazing.. he played Shanti which is one of my all time/current fav Ferry tracks.. busted out some Gouryella I never heard live before.. exhale - another classic I never heard live before.

Played tunes off his new album - which isn't even out yet.. not even as single releases.

I said ferry did a proper WMC set. A mix of current, classics, and future songs. Now, whether you liked them or not - you can not deny that ferry did a proper WMC set.

And yes.. some of us oldies have seen Paul for 9+ years.. I don't see why you are making it a big deal if a major consensus is the Nov 2005 show. You are the one making it a big deal lol.. Not us. Nothing can ever top that..and I have been seeing Paul since 01.. prob a shit load longer then ur grumpy old ass.

I think he's just mad that he wasn't there for this legendary Nov '05 show. So he wants to down play how good it was. I meet a lot of people like that. They try to make things they can't be a part of seem insignificant, so that they can claim things they were a part of as better.

On that note, I did not go to Nov' 05 Space PvD. But if a couple dozen people who have been seeing PvD since the turn of the century think it was the best set they saw, then I'll just nod and agree.

For me the dispute is long over, certain people were declaring this pvd 05 set the best ever, I simply corrected these statements with the reality he probably played equally or even better elsewhere in the world and no Trance addict cyber warrior is going to prove otherwise. It's just FACT.

No I'm not getting excited about the mention of the set, I'm not jealous I wasn't there, I probably heard the exact same set somewhere else that year. I was just sick of hearing the same tired ass cyber losers who clearly have too much time on their hands knocking people who had a good time at pvd last week...who gives a fuck if he didn't play Tell me why Vandit mix..you guys are fucking hilarious! seriously.

Cool enough, we agree this PVD drama is old already & done. At least until the next time PVD comes, because that always brings the most drama. Anyways, as I said before, most importantly those of us that went last week mostly had fun which is what matters. Even if the set was not his best, it was still fun ...

And I have seen PVD around 40 times, loved that Nov 2005 PAM DJS Anniversary Party set, but could hardly declare that was his "greatest set ever" because I was not there for his other 10,000+ shows. Only PVD has been last I checked ...

Who cares if it wasnt his best set. In general people had a blast, I had a blast. yes I saw PVD many times before but I did enjoy his set this year. You dont need to think it was the best set to enjoy the set.

anyways, this is always a great event to attend even with Space BS.

There really is only one best set...whether or not it was the November'05 set, I cannot say. A lot of people who have seen dozens of PvD sets seem to think that is it.

Sometimes the atmosphere and music really just line up and that one night is the best ever. Is it arrogant for people to say that the one they saw in Nov'05 is the best? Sure. But it's also arrogant of you to deny the fact that there could potentially be that one set where it just went above all the others.

The people, the sound system, the lighting, the staff, the tracks played, the order they were played, PvD's mood -- probably all unique on each and every given night. So it goes without question that one night could be better than any other night.
