I quite like this track. My thoughts:

* The hats are funky and lite, their pattern varies quite nicely.

* The bass is sparse but keeps it going really well,

* The melody is simple and quite familiar (probably cos it's like something I'd write ). A tougher sound might go well there though

* The high fx every 4 bars are mint

* The kick booms could be deeper or have a sub underneath

* The progression seems a bit wack at first but definately grows!

Ok first off you know this isnt my style so im not going to comment what I actually think of the tune...

* I think you have a lot of sounds that are drenched in too much reverb pushing the actual sounds too bar back into the mix... maybe some EQ will help to define some of the sounds...

* The melody change that comes in at 3:55 has lost the plot a bit... its a bit all over the place musically

*lead up to that melody is good... its driving

* prodction wise you are always getting better

disclaimer- all personal taste. i dont consider myself an authority on anything trance related

dave- i thought the intro bassline was a lil loud and seemed to drown out the bass drum (could just be my pc mind you) and went on for a little long before progressing, but im hardly the most patient trance lover

i liked the beginning sample. and i liked the melodies- thought the synths sounded pretty good.

overall i quite liked it. look fwd to the finished product

- i'll roll off most of the reverb off the melodies as i can definately see them being pushed back into the mix.

• Get a piece of paper and jot down which sounds are the most important... the ones you wanna stand out.
  
• The other sounds you want to blend in your mix apply your reverb till it sounds good.... but the ones you want up the front of your mix make the reverb times shorter... so the sounds are tight in the mix.
  
• Also draw on a piece of paper where you want your sounds to be in the mix.... and then pan those sounds accordingly.
  
  
  
  
  ^ The above application can be used in both surround sound mixing and normal mixing... Its a decent visual guide to where your sounds are going...
  
  More Tips:
  
  
• Keep bassline and kick in mono if you want your tunes to be pressed... and because I know you use FLStudio... i know FLstudio doesnt have that capability built in so you can either use the above application or use this:
