what a joke. i kept quite but not now since u decide to bring the promoters thing in this. so here it goes.

first off this is a review thread. in case u dont understand the meaning of review i shall clarify it for you and everyone else who has their head stuck up their ass in this thread. in a review thread ppl write about their experience of the club at a certain night. may it be good or bad. they write about the music the crowd and everything in between.

with that being said if Nada or for that matter anyone else who writes about gallery or any other room being slow jam and ppl looking x-tra mashed up who the hell are you to label them as a noob and directly make a attack on them as attention needing ppl ? does sumone have to be highly qualified to comment on music and the crowd ? just because u know certain things more than the other person dpoesnt give u the right to call them n00b. they may know little about one thing and then know alot about the other. and if Nad's comment bothered you sooo much .... why wont you act like an adult and just kindly pm her and say u have a problem with it and ask if she would re word it? i mean that would be the adult thing to do.

now to the promoter thing. i dont know if you are a promoter for gallery but if you are then i certainly hope this is not how you handle all things with your promotions. as a promoter u shud know people would write good bad and ugly about anything and everything. it is what the nature of this business is. if you cant handle it then dont get into it. if you throw a hissy fit every single time sumone says something bad about gallery then my fellow ta i have news for you. you wont last long in the promotions industry. if a comment made by one person u see harmful then what it implies is that u r taking it in a way where u think that ppl would stop coming to gallery and maybe you will loose your cut. and plz do tell me how does tribers and houseaddicts fit into all this ????

Pat, you assumed Nada was purposely bad-mouthing certain TAs...but she certainly didn't. You can read into words (which were harsh, but that's Nada...kinda like LKD but everyone finds that shit acceptable ) all you want but unless you personally confirm what a person meant before you get upset to the point that you want to say something negative in response. Otherwise, you'll never get the full picture. That's my "pussyfooting around on eggshells" but I think it's appropriate to understand each other IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET ALONG, that is. If you don't care, then let the flaming ensue!!!!

Anyway, that's my two cents. Nada told me that she was going to check out the Gallery; I have NO IDEA what time it was, and she asked me if I wanted to go but I was having too much fun in the Guv...

And Pat, do you honestly think Nada's review of the Gallery, especially with her context (where she was comparing the music to Marco V's faster pace) will cause people to turn away from the Gallery? HELL NO!!!!!!! In fact, I was hoping to get her to come along with me in the future, BEFORE the main event at the Guv...(but I guess that's not going to happen )

But I thought Gallery was great and I am appreciative to anyone including Patricia who tries to make the night a more enjoyable experience. Maybe for certain individuals the Sketchoid situation was just a matter of timing. I found it, like Fahad said to be a more relaxed, social area where you could actually have a conversation or dance at the same time.

The staff starting at the door, where definitely 101% more courteous than anyone in GUV/KH!

The GUV is the GUV and will always be the same, If you are with a group of friends you will not notice the Sketchy people as much because you are totally into that particular moment!!! It's that particular moment in time that gives you the ultimate drug or drug-free high that we all seek and makes the night fly by too quickly.

Too me that is the true EDM scene?

I actually never said anything about the Gallery/staff/promotors or anyone else cuz I never went in there that night.. didn't feel like it.. I haven't heard anything bad about it actually.. so we'll see and I will make a choice about it myself when I actually go there...

hunnie Gallery is actually a wicked place. i was there opening night with Paula Michelle Jodi Scott and others had hell of a time and then went back again and that night was fawking awesome too. the decor is great and its really intimate and the seating area is jus way too cool. as the gentleman said earlier its about wht sumone experiences at one point in one room. it is just what that persons point of view is. in no way shape or form does it hold any personal disrespect to anyone. and certainly not for the room and the club

As I said earlier regarding the seating in the tent-thingy and what Tylenol echoed above, it's an AWESOME place to chill with friends...I loved seeing TAs everywhere I looked (btwn. 1-2:30 am--hehe let's be clear about times here )
