auto exposure keeps the shutter open long due to most of the image being dark.

yes!! Cafe Risque is 1 exit south of UF where i went to school.. i've passed that thing for years...

its like a Denny's that has nekkid chicks..

there is also a Cafe Erotica also on I-75 that is closer to Macon, GA..

i find the pics of you guys by the Florida sign so funny... the way people think about Florida and it being party state and beaches and fishing all the time... to me and I'm sure many others say the same that we see it and just think of home...

oh and BTW, that exit that Cafe Risque is the exit you can pick mushrooms.. that exact exit about 5-10miles east of Cafe Risque is the #1 place for shroom picking in the nation... Alachua County Florida.., but that particular exit b/c its away from the university and you wont get caught...

little tid bit of info for ya... i think the shroom season is sometime like may-august

on our way back we drove up I-95 and went to Daytona Beach; but was kidna disappointed by it.

it was really close to Robbins AFB which we stopped at for a bit. i thought that was kinda humorous too.

Denny's w/ nekkid chicks eh? damn, maybe we should have actually gone inside. although there was a big huge guy near the front door that kinda scared us. haha

WE ended up stopping at all the state lines at every state we crossed ; just to grab a picture of the sign. ahh tourists at their best. haha

btw, i want to retire in florida. now that i've seen the other side of it [my previous impression was my 29 day field training in panama city in august that sucked ass]. now that i've seen the cool side of floirda; yes, i do want to live there. being a weather geek too, i'd be happy w/ hurricanes. haha

haha that's the same reason why i thought the pic was so cute. but yeah hurricanes aren't so bad. TV only shows the bad hit areas and like trailor homes [course it's going to look wrecked]. It's just rain and wind. Only hurricane that hit my area bad was fuking Wilma!! Other than that it was like 10 years ago hurricane Andrew.

But wilma fuked me up for 2 whole weeks. I took pics just gotta find it.

my friend and her neighbors were telling us about how when wilma hit them too. it wasn't really bad [much like just rain and wind that you desrcribed], but they were out of power for 10 days. so they all just kinda hung out together, grilled food, and drank beer. it was funny hearing people talk about "the day of the hurricane".

good times. i wanna go back so bad!!! it's so damn cold back here in iowa.

im actually pretty psyched about our predicted 7in of snow tonight.. i went to buy an ice scraper but home depot and target both put that stuff away since its spring...

i refuse to scrape. i'd rather sit in my truck and wait 15 mins while my heater defrosts my windshield, than go out into the cold and do it.

i bought some kickass de-icer stuff that mixes w/ your windshield wiper fluid - so it makes scraping nearly next to nill.

i'm going to be moving to louisiana this summer, and i can't wait. i'll never have to deal w/ snow/ice and super cold again [at least for 2-3 years]!!
