Im still thinking Jeter for MVP.
Jorge Julio has been helping the Mets even more after getting traded away, than he did while on the team
He's closed out 3 straight wins over the Braves
ever Lastings love for Milledge
in his first week in the majors:
first hit in his first game
first outfield assist (shortly after committing his first error)
first run, which was a walk-off game-winner
first home run, which tied the game against Benitez - first time AB blew a save against the Mets
Mets overused bullpen is starting to look very volitile. Halman has been terrible the past 2 weeks 8 earned runs in past 12 innings.
learn to spell that stuff correctly... heilman
it's good to see the young yankees doing well. finally replenishing lineup through the farm and not by FA signings. and it shuts up beckett for a bit too.
MOOSE 8-1 TOO
Dodgers draft Preston Mattingly at #31
leche saving the game last night
was a good game, looks like tonight is a washout.
El Duque with the Mets first complete game of the season!
interesting that it came against his former team
The Kaz Matsui era is over. He was just traded to the Rockies for Eli Marrero.
I'm sad to see Kaz go.
Me too he had alot of potential..
His defense got better, but he just wasn't able to hit.
Not as a starter (especially with the way Valentin was hitting - who knows how long that's going to last ) and not as a pinch-hitter.
I wonder what kind of contract he'll get next year, if he gets one at all.
Meanwhile, Beltran is playing more worth his money this year.
Already passed his home run total from last year.
In last night's game, he tied for the team lead in HR's twice, but too bad for him, Delgado also hit 2 HR's in that same game to stay in the lead. Maybe that competition was what C-Del needed to get his bat going again.
With Pujols out... as of right now, Carlos Beltran is the NL MVP.
He's hitting .294/.407/.631 and is on pace for 128 runs, 52 Home Runs, 134 RBI, and 30 SB.
I'm so happy he's doing well.
so whats up with Manny this year shamus
Scott Kazmir is doin quite awesome huh....
you must love the Royals since you like double A baseball so much
heh j/p with you
Im still a Marlins fan so I shoudnt talk to much, UGGLA FTW THOUGH
UGGLA UGGLA UGGLA
A strong case could be made for Soriano except the Nationals are 9 games back of the Mets.
.303 avg, 48 runs, 23 HR's, 46 RBI's, 14 steals, .986 OPS
