I just wanted to say thanks to anyone and everyone who contributed to this post. I'm probably one of the least informed people out there, and some might call me naive (it's happened on more than one occasion and in more than one circle of friends where the group I'm with -including my best friend- is mostly high and I have no idea), but this information has really helped me with this whole drug thing. I've never done it myself, have maybe once or twice had the desire to try it, but through reading these posts I think my decision's been made. I'm not going to preach about it to anyone, either way good or bad, because what you do is what you do and it's your decision to make. But I love ya'll and wouldn't want to see anything bad happen for whatever reason, drug related or not.

| Originally posted by Skipper Jeff, I don't think it's unfair that people would like a headliner to come on before 4am. For people who lead 9-5 jobs, and don't work a retail or a bar/restaurant job and have to keep day hours M-F, staying up til 4am on a Friday night for the headliner to come on is near impossible without drugs since you've already been up since 6am Friday morning. |

Nice post Nat.
One example is an Armin party I attended.
girl: "What are you on?"
me: "Nothing, I'm sober"
girl: "Then you won't understand the music!"
If you think you need drugs to understand Armin, let alone trance, you have some issues to deal with.
If you can't party without the drugs, you have to stop. That includes alcohol to yay.

But I have friends that have gone and just can't ignore it. I respect that. It is definatly an experience though. I don't believe it's as bad as most people thing it is, as long as they can get past certain elements of it. |

First off; this myfriends is a seriouly awesome post. I never did drugs up until this summer. When I did it I enjoyed myself because it was a new experience for me and all. I might of dropped 20 times the whole summer, which wasnt't a lot but I still did the drugs. The only difference i found doing E then partying sober was the social aspect of things. not to mention the sore jaw in the morn hahah but since I have partied both sober and intoxicated I wouldn't hesitat one bit to do it sober every time. like Jamie said pre drinks are perfect.
