Yeah i saw that.. holding two CDJ's above their head making a bee line through the dance floor. wonder what went wrong... but i guess with that much equipment up there it could be anything.

i didn't really know what to expect since i'd never seen or really listened to digweed before and i saw sasha once in 2002 when i wasn't that into progressive as much then. i was scared it was going to be very housey and electroey but i farken loved it especially the first hour by digweed! and the banging prog trance near the middle/end was mad.

anita whats the deal? i tried saying hi to you twice but you just looked at me and walked off....

at least missy geisha was fun to hang with

I'm still tired.

Start of the night was dragging on...cloak room and the line at the washroom did my head in!

Downstairs house room was ROCKING and so much more room to dance.

Diggers & Sasha killed it towards the end.
A bit more crowd interaction would have been appreciated.
They were too mesmerised by their laptops.

it was my mrs...

thought sasha and diggers were disappointing. i have about 20 of their recent sets and i wish they played one of them instead. they were brilliant at times and so boring at others.

I had a fully hectic (bro) night running around meeting peepz - Phil, Anita, Mandi, Renegade, Vi, Virginia, eros + others that I can't recall due to my brain losing the plot even before I entered the club. Briefly caught some familiar faces - Liz, Gerry (great to see you on the dancefloor dude!), Nickos, S0ups, Strangis, Paulie, and whoever else throughout the night. It went so damn quick!

Next thing I knew it was 6am and I was leaving the club. The peepz that I had entered with had all disappeared and I had no idea where the afterparty was so I went back to the hostel and crashed.

That last hour, like in Sydney, was way too hard for me but S&D definitely did play a harder progressive set overall for the Melb folk (did their homework I see). Such the entertainers that they are. Yes, shame about the lack of crowd interaction but oh well...

Gotta say I preferred the old QBH but its current iteration is still impressive and there was still room to move up front (unlike at Home on Friday night).

Props to the DJ upstairs that dropped that Booka Shade track and the DJ in the bottom room (I was hiding in there for a while) that played that uplifting hard trance track (f*ck if I can remember it now).

Great gig. It got too much of the same at times but the crowd seemed to enjoy it. Definitely worth doing the Syd-Melb double, even if my body paid severely for it the past few days.

About half way through Sasha's second hour he played an awesome melodic tune which went for quite a while and was a bit different to the other stuff he was playing.

I've got a poor quality video on my phone of it which i'll try and upload, in it there is someone in the crowd yelling out something which sounds like "oh" a few times and pretty loud if that helps at all.

Would love to know what this tune was, one of the best of the year for sure.
