Nice setup bender (a&h are definitely the way to go for mixers)

Is that little glass wall part of the original house or added in by you? It looks really nice

Posted by bender on Jul-05-2003 07:59:

thanxs. the glass wall is part of the apartment. It's a den.

the next purchase will be a pioneer djm-3000. it is gonna be fun recutting the table to make it fit

also, we are in the process of designing and building an island behind the table that houses all the vinyl and cds that we have.

eventually the turntables may be upgraded, and final scratch may be added.

the monitors and the turn tables are all on cushions and there is no interference with the turn tables when the monitors are turned up (even though it looks like there would be).

Amazing
Simply amazing.
Where did you aquire your mad skillz?

Hello!

Posted by ChavezHype on Jul-06-2003 03:13:

say suhkorea... how are those 1200mk5's? Did you notice any difference in them from the m3d's(if you've ever used them that is).
Regardless nice setup.
Especially bender... decided to spoil yourself with a xone 62?
Heh nice.

The MK5 have lines on the counterweight pole and a higher antiskate at 6... and it saids 1200MK5 instead of M3D.. THAT IS ALL!!.. in other words.. I got jipped $50 (I got em for $450).. ... but I love these decks...

get M3d or MK2.. DONT GET MK5 or MK5G... unless you wanna burn your money..

Posted by ChavezHype on Jul-06-2003 04:38:

that would actually be a waste of $100...
sorry to rub it in .
Well at least they're new.

Posted by suhkorea on Jul-06-2003 08:17:

yah.. $100.. arrg...!!! well it is kinda hard to find new MK2 and M3D for $399.99 these days..

Exactly. I have a shiat Gemini PMX-12A mixer and I can mix with it..., just makes it a lot easier when I do get a mixer with Eq's. I can't wait...hopefully in about 3 weeks or so.

Smile Tongue

I know dude, I probably own the absolute cheapest mixer on TA BUT, a new mixer and some new tables will be that much sweeter once I manage to start SAVING instead of SPENDING

Posted by ludeboy12 on Jul-07-2003 01:53:

ok heres a couple new pix of my setup....well the tables anyways....

Posted by Tiger777 on Jul-07-2003 09:20:

I had an every shittier mixer... beleve me.
I had this:

I swear, it's THE most stupid, bad quality mixer you have EVER seen. If you move the volume control of channel 1, UNEXPLAINABLE, the sound of channel 2 rises... explain that

but, I recently baught the vmx300 and I'm happy with it

HEh. I didn't know they made mixers without EQs.....
Are you supposed to fiddle with the reciever EQs or what?

Does anyone here use a Dual CD deck?..I'm interested in seeing their setup.

Otherwise...some of you guys have amazing setups for your DJ gear. I'm very old-school and set something up in my basement...hopefully I'll get pics up sometime soon.

Let's just say it's more than any non-professional should be spending... But I figured if I'm going to do anything, I'm doing to do it right. My upstairs neighbor hate me.

Luckily I have insurance for all my equipment and vinyl or I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

I'll bet that the same lavalamp just to make us think you're rich and you can afford 2 lavalamps!

Anyway, I love your setup
