Most def the greatest party I've ever been to...second greatest was the one in TO of course

^^ FUCKING. AWESOME!

But hey, is that Ferry's remix of william orbit's track? It didnt sound intense and right like Tiesto's production at the end!

But im honestly shocked as hell that he would play the ferry remix over his own!!

It always gets some serious eye rolling from me and a lot of other people. I cant believe he still plays the same 5-6 of his own tracks EVERY time he's in Toronto lately.

ok this was my fourth time seeing him since nov 25th 2005....out of all those times i havent heard traffic...and adagio untill saturdays shows, and i been waiting for so long, and i loved every minute of it when it was being played...!

The thing i diddnt like...the fact he played advanced...and broken inside...Ok, dont get me wrong, those are fucking awesome tracks, and i diddnt mind broken inside because its one of my all time favs....but he played those tracks last time in may...couldnt he play some other newer tracks instead....i dunno i still enjoyed all the tracks being played.... icant even go as far as saying this was one of the best parties ive been too...(other then SVD at guv10..and buuren/corsten duo at LoL)

No it's not Ferry's it's the Tiesto remix ...I have more vids but they're at home.

And I think someone did get his headphones, I recall reading someone saying here in this thread they got them.

Lineup for the event...

- Benjamin Bates
- Jaimy

Second Stage (Amazon)
- Lucien Foort

- Remy

Third Stage (Sau Paulo)
- Dave Clarke
- Agoria
- Bart Skils
- Cristian Varela
- Takkyu Ishino

Fourth Stage...wasn't interesting...

Fifth Stage...

Sixth Stage...

- AJ Cript
- Jean
- John "00" Flemming
- Cor Fijneman
- Joop

Seventh Stage
- Mauro Picotto

It sounds worse there than when Tiesto played it, if that's possible. Did he honestly think he was going to win anybody over with that? He must have heard the boos and sensed the crowd's negative reaction.

That's horrible, I'm literally speechless. WTF was he thinking?

Posted by darouge11 on Dec-12-2006 15:38:

i just watched a video of it...it starts off slow for like 20 seconds...then it actually picks up pace..its not that bad

PS JOOP - THE FUTURE ......FUCKING GREAT!!!!

This is such an awesome techno track...a bit dated, but it's not opening up material...Tiesto gets a huge WTF from me.

Sorry you guys had a horrible time...if it makes you feel any better, I had a kickass time dancing in my bedroom and going to sleep before 11

I have no clue what your talking about....this is a great tune to open up with...You diddnt hear the reaction from the crowd...but i dont think they were displeased with this track opening a greatshow...

I said in the roll call thread that i would really hope he opens his set with this track...so i was very happy

Yeah I'll have to agree the opening was simply wicked!

There's a video somewhere on Youtube of the track going on and the curtains opening...looks awesome!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this track...I meant that it's mid-set material....but using it as an opener?...and by a 'trance' deejay? I don't know....

well you know tijs...hes getting open minded about the tracks hes playing nowadays....

its sounds like such a dynamik track though to open up a set with....i dunno how it would sound if he mixed it in the middle of a set...even though i think hes done it before at a recent show

But most of your original Tiesto fans that have been there at least since 2000 were probably at the Guvernment, or at home. I didn't have a horrible time, I don't mean it to seem that way. He played some decent stuff but it's clear to me he isnt the Tiesto I grew to love many years ago. That's cool though; both artists and people's tastes change. There's no sense in whining or flaming Tiesto ad nauseum like many people have done the last couple of years.

You know what I think it was. It's becoming clearer. Not so much a style chritique but his vacantcey. It's funny how he was jabbing at AVB in the media a few months back about, "still loving what they do". Irony cuts deep. ..........."ya sure, there goes 'Nostrum' again, busting on....." I guess I'm just having a hard time not giving a shit.......

Yes, the competition between him and DJ Danny D is really intensifying, who can spin the hardest J00P or RVDB track into your high school sweet hearts fav Christina Aguilera song. You have to be open minded to this stuff or you will never be succesful (50 cent on the remix w000t ).

..........so he's out in LA now with BT and exploring a bit now that he can after being a little bit of a slave to his fame. Also, good for him I say. Believe me, it crossed my mind as well. 'Oh no, is he turning house?' He may have qualified that publicly out of guilt but DJ Tiesto will ALWAYS be Trance. Because "...it IS just all about the Trance."

I hope Tijs goes to some P. Diddy ghetto function or something and promotes his latest track or something like that! See how the fans react to that one...

There might be some bullets flying around...
