Another rubbish episode, play more uplifting/vocal tunes not techy big-beats electro shit.
Why not play something like:
Sound Fiction feat. Kate Cameron - Alive (Mike Shiver Remix)
Evbointh - One Wish (Above & Beyond Rework)
Weekend Players - Into The Sun (Mark Eteson Rework)
Carbon Based Lifeforms - World of Sleepers (would be good for an intro)
D'Air - Abrente (Ambient Mix) would be good for an outro
Fix your music selection armin it blowz. Must be using Party Shuffle on itunes.

We do that automatically every week.. the point is we shouldn't have to hope for a better mix next week. The guy got voted at second place but he doesn't play music of that same level.

*sigh* Alex, Armin is a wonderful DJ not because at times he plays what you want (i.e. uplifting trance), but because he plays some of the best electronic dance music that he can get his hands on. He wants to appeal to different people, not just tranceaddicts and I think most people are very satisfied by this. Not everybody is going to like every track in every episode - to think that's possible is ridiculous and stupid. Maybe the original concept was to call it A State of Trance because it was a pun for him mixing the best trance music for 2 hours. However, for a long time now it's just been a music show for EDM music - although a lot of tracks are in the trance style - it is ultimately 2 hours of the listener entering a trance-like musical/mental state.
It's funny how you think that Armin should play exactly what you're requesting. Make your own 2 hour mix if you so wish with the tracks you listed before. If it's what the masses want, maybe you'll be able to start your own radio show and gain a wider, bigger audience than van Buuren himself. I don't think that's going to happen and a major reason is that Armin plays all kinds of tunes, not just uplifting trance.
