yea ive only heard one of tyas' sets but its one of the best ive ever heard...gotta find time to catch at least half of him

My worst nightmare has come true: SvD and Rank 1 are playing at the same time Me cries And the only main stage djs I want to see are playing right before and after Tiesto, which means the room is gonna be a madhouse....

Looks like I'm gonna spend almost the whole night at the hard stage!

Here's my humble opinion about Tyas: There will be many other djs playing at TE who are much better than him and who never/rarely come to the US to play (unlike Tyas who plays here pretty often). This is your opportunity to see them so take advantage of it!

I'm glad I'm not a Tiesto fan because I don't think Escape is big enough for somebody like him and the club is probably gonna be a sardine can on Friday

yea aside from tyas..i really wanna see marcel woods, john o' callaghan, and alex morph....im not a huge fan of tiesto either so i prolly wont go into that room until about 3ish and catch the last hour and a half...but my gf loves him so we'll c

Only about 300 tickets left for Tiesto at Escape Grrr, frustrates the hell outta me that I can't buy them! Maybe I can just go and see if anyone is selling them there, tho they will probably be selling them for a ridiculous price. I must look at the line-up more and chat with the boyfriend about our master plan Tiesto and Ferry for sure tho

My gf has also been corresponding with Escape about Friday night and they pretty much said that it is impossible to buy tickets via the website if you're not in Europe.

I'm wondering if anyone there can get tickets for people who want to go in advance because this event is sure to sell out. There is a TA meet up on Friday night, after all.

I was wondering the same thing but wasn't sure whether to ask or not, thought it might be a big thing to ask buy a bunch of tickets with their own money only on our word that we would pay them back when we got there But I know I'm definitely good for it! Getting my paycheck on Friday for a gooooooood amount of $$$

im in the same boat as both of you..was thinkin about scalping tickets for this event but after contemplating, my gf and i are just gunna go to the TA meetup fri nite and save our $ and energy for TE...my first time to europe so i wanna see and do as much as possible and if i go to Escape ill be up all nite and wont wanna sightsee saturday before TE

Yeah, I get what your saying. But I have an entire week in Amsterdam and only 2 nights where I have things set up that I must do (Friday for Tiesto at Escape hopefully, and Saturday for TA meet up and Trance Energy). So I was planning on site seeing on Thursday a little, after getting settled. Then Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, then I leave Wednesday. Which is why im in my predicament to get these tickets :P

Can backpacks be taken in?

I know you can't go in and out to the lockers, but I am thinking an empty backpack for the shirts and stuff, is that allowed?

Only a few more days!! Flight leaves tomorrow at 1:55 AHH!! Less than 24 hours away from leaving!!

ahhh! i am so excited. i'm going home tom and then off to amsterdam on thurs, but basically my vacation starts tomorroww. fuck yeah.

yea goodcall...what is the final word on backpacks? although someone had posted earlier today that they did allow u to go out to ur locker and drop ur shit off as long as u go thru security again...i think what im gunna do is run to all the vendors immediately b4 it gets so packed and lines start forming to get in and grab all my shit...and maybe security will be more leniant at the beginning before the place fills up with in and outs...just an idea

I think so about the backpack thing, but if not the security will tell you to put it in a locker, I had to put my Video Camera in the locker, they wouldnt let me in with it. So I wouldnt bother trying that, I couldnt figure how to put the video I shot last year of the TA meeting on here, but I will make a better one with my Digital Camera and upload it to Youtube or something... See some of you Friday....
