never heard Mathew Jonson live, really looking forward to this.

I'm gonna go crazy if he drops Marionette.

Posted by elFreak on Jul-21-2008 20:31:

did you see cobblestone jazz at mutek 2 years ago?

Posted by Passskal on Jul-21-2008 21:00:

NO! didn't make it to that either! It was with the Mole if I remember correctly. I know Mathew is one of the 3 guys behind Cobblestone jazz, that would have been cool too at piknic.

Posted by Passskal on Jul-25-2008 18:04:

The first two attempts to get Mathew to play at Piknic it ended up being cancelled because of rain. Looks like the third attempt will be the right one! supposed to be sunny, no rain on Sunday!

Arsen was great, but the way it ended was a downer. Beautifully programmed set otherwise.

Mathew Jonson was awesome, as expected

I don't know if Arsen was good, but the first track was piss-ass boring generic "lolelectro-house", and I left

The first track was fucked up, probably did it on purpose to reset the dancefloor and build the vibe fresh. The next hour and a half or so was one of the best I've heard at Piknik. He rocked the crowd proper.

Alex Smoke and Simon Baker on Aug 10th should be quite awesome

Mathew Jonson live @ piknic

check out his set-up (huge mixer console) at 3m59...playing his own Good life remix which reminded me it's an amazing track

Posted by elFreak on Jul-29-2008 19:37:
