i think fledz misses a lot of things.

i'll drink vodka too, hell if we go to a nice place and order a bottle for the table, i am not paying club prices for a premium bottle of scotch or whisky that are already pricey as is in stores. Hell, i am a sucker for a mojito (rum) on a hot day, or the occasional bloody caesar to get my appetite going before a nice meal.

can't a guy just post the same way he has for the last 5 years hoping that ben will take the bait?

apple jacks is prety nice. You still get the flavour of the whiskey, but the chemistry of the apple juice allows you to enjoy it without the burn. I like the burn, but not when it is 90 degrees outside.

only use cheap whiskey though, because nice single malt with anything other than ice in it is a travesty against humanity.

yeah... I used to be good for multiple sweet drinks over the course of the night, but now it just ends up hurting my stomach. I'll do 1 or 2 but then go strait to vodka and club soda with a lemon.

Also, try some Stoli Blueberry on the rocks. Nice!

oh yea and i don't like sweet drinks that much either. too much sugar with alcohol is what gives me a nasty hangover. i don't do any of those garbage shots like kamakaze (bleh) although i HAVE done them and regretted it. not any more.

the only time i drink hard liquor is when i'm out at a bar or club and i'll do rum n coke (dark rum), which i know is kinda sweet but it's not fruity.

i can honestly say the only hard liquor beverage that i actually enjoy the flavor of and the buzz is a margarita with a shot of grand marnier in it (a golden margarita as they call it).

i fucking love margaritas/tequila

i used to have such a big crush on this guy jeff. he has a very slight southern accent and could pull it off perfectly without looking like a redneck. being a chiropractor and owning his own clinics didn't hurt either (about the coming off as a redneck part)

anyway my point is, he always drank bourbon and it was so hot to listen to him order it and drink it. lol
