horrible, HORRIBLE way to blow that game last night

Posted by GGM on Apr-22-2011 15:08:

^^ Agreed. As defense in an OT playoff game you do not under any circumstances leave Price hanging like that. 3 on 1 is ridiculous, you play it safe if you have to. As good as PK is and as much as he's come in the last 2 seasons you can still see his age when shit like that goes down.

relax guys, when you have such a young guy playing so many minutes in the playoffs he will make mistakes. He is still the future of this franchise.

I completely agree with you. We have to give him time, he needs to do his mileage. Subban is going to become a major defensive superstar. I believe that he's going to be as good if not better the Drew Doughty.

where were you when we were up 2 -0 ? You are pretty confident a little too early

For sure and I'm not saying behead him or anything but it just sucks when those mistakes happen at such a critical time. That and it could've gone the other way where his rush created a goal/win and he looks like a hero.

Well I did state my prediction while the Bruins were behind 2-1 in the series and after having lost home ice advantage so it's not like I was picking some overwhelming favorite. I just have faith in my Bs, man!

let me guess....in high school you failed at history

Posted by ChemEnhanced on Apr-23-2011 05:32:

if the last four games have shown me anything its that the visiting team wins...so montreal in 7

Posted by devnull on Apr-24-2011 03:42:

seriously annoyed @ the habs

absolutely awful. Ive been such a prick at work and the habs arent delivering at all. painful as it gets

Posted by Romchik22 on Apr-24-2011 12:28:

Even tho we lost, that was a proper hockey game!

Posted by jester on Apr-24-2011 14:04:

Are the habs that bad or they just playing with our heads and want it to be 7 games and take it from there

Whatever they are doing, they are giving most of us heart problems!

Posted by corjay9 on Apr-24-2011 14:23:

Not capitalizing on our scoring chances... that and, the Bruins are a fucking great team and they're only going to get better in the coming years.

This game and last year Montreal vs caps game7 were the most stressful games of my life

so will we when we dump hammer, spacek, moen, etc

our d appears to be our biggest problem followed closesly with our offense that is seriously lacking a punch

cammy can only do so much

props to eller though, this guy really impressed me the last two games. Even Gomez impressed me yesterday with his sneaky speed... guy can sneak up on

Posted by SeanMP on Apr-24-2011 17:08:

What a game! The habs looked like the better team for most of the game, they definitely had the better scoring chances, but Thomas really stood on his head and stole that one. Price played pretty excellent as well, just a couple of unlucky rebounds to Marchand and Horton into a yawning net. I was on the edge of my seat for all 4 hours. Game 6 should be a barn burner!

Montreal wins game 6, ultimate game in Boston next day. Habs will be dead tired from the effort needed to win on Tuesday, Boston wins series at home.

Hope i'm wrong but at least let's hope for a game 7!

the ice will be shit tomorrow. Lady Gaga's setup tonight is quite the big setup/take down. Watch for bouncing pucks tomorrow.

We need lady luck on our side !!!

Posted by Zyklon_Jay on Apr-25-2011 21:01:

we need our centers to pick up their man in overtime situations so that hamrlik doesn't get turned around like in the last overtime. The scary thing is that pleks was the guy who muffed his coverage. Not a good sign. Winning a faceoff would help too.

Posted by TheVrk on Apr-26-2011 09:18:

Cammalleri is beyond fire right now...got to get him the puck in scoring situations.

Another thing, i know he's second on the team with 3 pts, but doesn't it seem like Gomez is NEVER dangerous???
Since he left New Jersey he's been a shadow of his former self offensively..how crazy does that sound?
You leave New Jersey (which is my team btw) and you fall off the map offensively ????

Watching this series, Cammalleri is obv the most dangerous Hab...
Everytime he touches the puck he's making wikkid moves and causing trouble.

Gomez? Does he ever cross the blue line with any speed? (watch for this tonight coz the answeer is rarely yes)
He has had ZERO jump...when he does have jump, he can be extremely dangerous coz he does has such good vision and is a really good passer.
The point is he's never getting himself into any space coz of his lack of jump.
When he doesn't have space he becomes an avg offensive player..hence, what he's become since he went to the Rangers.

He's got to become dangerous so Montreal as a WHOLE can become dangerous...or at least more dangerous

Regarding PK, imo there's absolutely nothing but good to say about him.
Of course he's making some mistakes becoz of lack experience.
But the guy's incredible..and he IS dangerous..and he's ALWAYS flying with the puck.
Absolute fucking stud not just for the future but even now

Posted by TheVrk on Apr-26-2011 09:19:

I think the Habs will win tonight...but lose Game 7.
They blew this series in Game 4 when they had Boston by the balls and lost

Posted by Romchik22 on Apr-26-2011 16:52:

I'm stressng already
