Oh, and CDJ-1000's will fit on the swivel shelves. I measured before I bought it, for possible upgrades. The swivel shelves can be put on the outside and turned forward if you want the CDJs a little more out of the way, yet still close.

Thanks for the tip! that looks good and they even have it in black! looks like i can get it all for less then $200. of course the closet IKEA is about 300 miles away, but i can do that.

Just wondering, with the screen in front of you. Where abouts is your mouse/keyboard?

Or do you use your laptop on your left and have the monitor attached just so you can see what's going on?

I only have them like that as i was making room on my computer desk hence the laptop being next to my decks, They are alot better in that position tho imho, I can easily put them back the other way now i can put my laptop back onto my computer desk. Ill most likey keep them that way round tho. Personal preference i guess

I see, i didn't know you could only use the mouse with serato.

Well i knew, but i didn't think it was very efficient/fast.

I'm considering, buying a keyboard with mousepad on it on a sliding tray underneath my desk.. That way i'll have both the keyboard and mouse together.. Gonna have to see how i implement it though as i dunno how i'm gonna make the sliding tray for it

Left the shutter open for 2 seconds and used flash...also shook the camera just a little for the lights.

lol.. You're right buddy, that's not something i could slap together too quickly. (I'm a wood man not a metal one)

Only problem is the width, my table has legs at every 42cm, So it would have to fit inbetween one of the legs.. Probably gonna have it on the right hand side of the table then a monitor on an arm floating above right of the right hand side table. Dunno if you can imagine that, having seen my table.

But cheers for the link, i'll have to find out what width it is. (also i don't think we've got an IKEA in ireland yet )

Wow, I just died. Beautiful setup Mezma. Vestax is probably the only brand superior to Technics. Great choice!

Posted by Xone62 on Jan-13-2006 08:51:

is the top counter granite? did you build it yourself?

Posted by n3lly on Jan-13-2006 16:54:

I remember seeing that setup somewhere before.. I really like it! Clean lines, and everythings nicely in place.

I just hope then next mixer your buy will fit into the same slot lol.. (that's assuming you'll buy a new mixer at some stage of course!)

I also like the colour of the wall beside your vinyls..

FINALLY acquired myself a setup worth posting in here:

2xTechnics 1210
2xortofon nightclub e concordes
Pioneer DJM-600
Stanton DJ pro 60 headphones (next on the upgrade list!)

Posted by tvmann on Jan-16-2006 22:39:

knoxy500 - how do you like that Evolution X-Session box that is in your picture?. I've had one about 2 years, like it a lot, but one of the pots (knobs) is getting erratic at the top of the range. I guess I should figure out if the pot can be sprayed with cleaner fluid.

Nice setup est, what slipmats are you using, they're looking pretty black to me
A nice slipmat is just the finishing touch
