After a fucking terrible run yesterday I felt down about running, but because of that I said I was going to push my pace even harder and run ever farther. I did just that and set the fastest pace I have so far, and ran the farthest I have so far. I could have even kept going at the end and jogged instead of walking home for the cool down then paced around my yard for about 5 minutes. I felt I could have kept going and kicked the pace up even harder, so tomorrow I'm adding more distance.
Worked out hard core yesterday after running 30 minutes..
Today i ran 34 minutes and have no energy to work out ;/
That is after not doing anything for 2weeks becuase i had a piece of glass on my foot.

i was watching sportscenter the other day and mark sanchez (former usc qb) was on and he had some system hooked up to his arm. i think he said it was an electrode system to remove lactic acid. anyone have any info on this type of thing?

i was reading the beginning of this thread and on page19 there was a discussion about being sore after your workout "no pain, no gain" theory.
but what if you simply can't lift more? does that mean i'm not trying hard enough??? when I was 5 years younger I got sore but now.. the next day I feel nothing. but I know i worked my muscles because, they are shaking very hard (when i'm not training, afterwards in the shower). and what do you guys think about short stops (like i don't workout 1 week ,I haven't allways got the time) don't you feel like: the workout sessions before are wasted and you have to start again from nothing?
I don't understand anything you are trying to say lol
peoples bodies are different, some get more sore than others. for me, especially taking protein and/or creatine, i rarely feel anything the next day. maybe a little bit of soreness if i stretch, but nothing like when i first started working out or coming back into it after a long break.

ran for 15 minutes
did 3 sets of the following:
5 pullups
10 pushups
did that twice. then did some leight lifting too (45 lbs). feels pretty good and my chest is bulging muhahahahahah

as of today seems as though i get gym respect from the seven biggest meatheads at my gym
. seriously these guys could easily pick me up and throw me.
either way happy about it since lately i've been so annoyed with some of the other guys in the weight room. i'm pretty much always the only woman in the room and because of that other guys give me "the look" to hurry me off of stuff. i appreciate some respect every now and then especially since earlier this week i wanted to punch some dude in the throat for intentionally getting in my way a couple times...

because i go in do my thing and bounce. either way getting props from the other gym rats is nice.
Ha ya I don't think anyone has ever though I look friendly...
And lol some dude came up and asked me why I don't use the neck pad for squats, I replied with "because I don't have a vag" that seemed to appease them

I've been sick ever since the end wmc and haven't been to the gym in a week. Fucking blows, and I lost 5lbs because of this. Chach were u at Sasha at Shine? I thought I spotted u in the mayhem but I couldn't get over toward ya as we were headed back upstairs to the room. We had a room right above the club overlooking the pool on the Mezzanine.
