OMG are you kidding??
A TRANFORMERS MOVIE????
I <3 TRANSFORMERS!
One of the girls I work with borrows all the Bollywood movies off our Indian tenants
superman returns (unfortunately).
what a disappointment. i was all pumped for this, but i have learnt my lesson. reeve brought such charisma to his roles as superman & kent but this new fella was like a cardboard cut out. it was embarrassing at times. poor guy.
the super things superman did were pretty cool for the most part, but at no stage did the movie give me an emotional attachment to any of the characters. i couldnt care what happened to any of them. the best scene was where our hero was having the shit kicked out of him, not too dissimiliar from superman II. but even then, you felt a real connection with reeve getting bashed as a normal human. much less impact in the new flick.
also, since when was superman a home wrecker?
lex was the small highlight of the film, he had some nice one liners, but thats hardly worth over 2hrs of sitting in a cinema while some fuckwit behind you cant manage to eat his snacks quietly. god i hate children.
im over big budget pieces of excrement that i get sucked into watching. its not fair.
1 1/2 pieces of kryptonite out of 5.
This is why you only go to the movies if you have a missus... I've been single for a while now, meaning I only watch shitty CAMS
But theres nothing better than canoodling the missus, you almost hope the movies shit just for the pleasure... Oh the days where getting busted by a torch and a pimply faced kid are long gone
hmmmm i definitely think they should have let kevin spacey loose in the movie and just let him do this thing. he had moments but at times it just appears he is restricted in the role.
really? i thought spacey was given a long leash and was his most free-wheelin' performance since american beauty (that i've seen). in some scenes he was just comical, almost like a parody of luthor.
rezza: trust me, there's no comfortable position for canoodle'ing at the cinemas.
You guys should watch 'Running Scared', its got that lame dude Paul Walker, but I gotta admit, he does a superb job playing the character in this movie... Awesome story line, old school plot, but done extremely well!
16 Blocks is another good movie too, Bruce Willis n Mos Def... another solid original storyline with more twists that MisSyM's tits
Both these movies arean't gonna be released for a while, but theres some dvd-ripped screeners available, if you know what i mean
I watched three movies this weekend (yes I have no life).
Mystic River - WOW! Another amazing performance by Sean Penn and Tim Robbins. I am sure most of you have seent his as its a bit old now but it is going on my top 10 list right now!
5 disturbed men out of 5
The Family Stone - Sarah Jessica Parker "girly flick" that was actually a pleaant surprise. Luke Wilson is really funny and it has that hot guy from My Best Friends Wedding. Good for a laugh and a bit of romance (if your life is lacking this).

Pirates of the Carribean - Every Gold Class session for this was sold out at Jam Factory yesterday and so I had to sit in "normal" seats. our session was packed too! I loved the first movie so much and enjoyed this just as much although, maybe it went a little long. I found the end a bit confusing, I know I am blonde! Johnny Depp is awesome again as Jack Sparrow and the scenery and effects are amazing. I lauged all the way through and gasped at all the right times! The octopus creature reminded me of the scene that was cut from the Goonies! Def go and check this out... but done eat a large popcorn, large sprite and a bag of chocolates! You will get fat!

Haha yeah hence why I won't see it. I remember chappelle in this movie with danny da vito, and that other white guy who's dumb and slow and is in Billy Madison. wasn't bad actually.. called "screwed" ? or something

i had goosebumps and stuff haha
i was whistling the theme all the way home
i think i'll be a bit more generous than mr raistlin and give it 4 pieces of kryptonite out of 5
Just got bk from Superman Returns. Was a lil' concerned about the 2 3/4 hr running time, but it was quite a decent movie. Good mix of action and character development.
Good to see people who have a clue, PKC - what do you expect.. superman to pull up a chair and discuss the meaning of life?
you can be so homo sometimes man

im going to go as far to say that this superman was better.. the other ones were way too kiddy, too family.. this one has a more 2000esque movie style feel about it, more comic book than the priors.. they were more g rated fun for a sunday afternoon
